James Lesure (born September 21, 1970) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Mike Cannon on the NBC comedy-drama Las Vegas, and as Mel Ellis on the NBC/WB sitcom For Your Love. He also starred as basketball star Alonzo Pope on the ABC series Mr. Sunshine, a 2010-11 midseason replacement with Matthew Perry and Allison Janney.
Lesure had a recurring role on the NBC show, Lipstick Jungle, playing Griffin Bell, and is also known for his guest appearances on many different American TV series, including Alias, The Drew Carey Show, George Lopez, Lost, Monk, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Seinfeld, and Harry's Law.
Lesure's most recent role was as Gibbs on the cancelled TBS sitcom Men at Work. Now, he plays the recurring character Alex McBride in season 5 of the CBS drama Blue Bloods.
Lesure is an alumnus of the USC School of Dramatic Arts.
His awards include two MVP Awards.
Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce is an American drama television series developed by Marti Noxon for the American cable network Bravo. Based on the Girlfriends' Guides book series by Vicki Iovine, the series revolves around Abby McCarthy, a self-help author who finds solace in new friends and adventures as she faces an impending divorce. Lisa Edelstein portrays the main character Abby, while Beau Garrett, Necar Zadegan, Paul Adelstein and Janeane Garofalo round out the main cast.
Produced by Universal Cable Productions, the series serves as the first original scripted series for Bravo. A 13-episode first season was ordered by the network, which premiered on December 2, 2014. The show debuted to 1.04 million viewers. Critical reception for the series has initially been generally positive, with particular praise towards Edelstein's performance and the series' quality over the reality series on Bravo. The show was eventually renewed for a second season, which premiered on December 1, 2015.
Throwbacks is the final album recorded by Nat & Alex Wolff under the name "The Naked Brothers Band" and the soundtrack to the third and final season of the show of the same name. Under the working title "Songs of Season 3," due to post-production problems, it was originally cancelled, until it was announced on September 19, 2013 to be released as a Nat & Alex Wolff album instead of a Naked Brothers Band album on October 15, 2013, under the title Throwbacks. One song that was recorded for the intended Season 3 soundtrack, "Face in the Hall", which later appeared in the iCarly soundtrack, will not be in the Throwbacks album.
Nat Wolff developed a lot while writing the soundtrack. He had developed a lot as a song[-writer] since the band's second album, which was released earlier the same year. Many songs from the album had a sense that the writer(s) were inspired by old artists, such as the track "The World (As We Know It Today)" was a modern version of Billy Joel's song We Didn't Start the Fire. The song "Yes We Can" (which features Natasha Bedingfield and Leon Thomas III) was inspired by the presidency of Barack Obama.

For those loveline fans during the peak of the show's popularity during the Adam Carolla / Dr. Drew era. These shows came from tape transfers and made into mp3 format. I did not record or transfer any of these shows, so when there's missing audio and the conversation suddenly ends in the middle of something interesting on occasion isn't my fault. Nothing I can do about it, either. (0:00:00) 01. 1998-09-08: The guest is James Lesure and the show is mostly complete as it's missing the end. The show starts off strong and James comes in after the first break. Lots of talk about the Clinton/blowjob fiasco as well. James doesn't say much, but does laugh a lot. Adam reluctantly talks about the "poo wars" of his youth and a related story regarding the drive-thru at Jack-In-The-Box. Adam says he w...

This is our last song so listen up,
I'll only say this once.
You've gone too far. I've given up,
and it's too late to turn back now.
Cry in shame, you're just drunk.
So let me sober you up.
Watch me walk away.
You're falling deeper than you've been before.
You could never be the one for me
but now you're nothing at all.
Sidewalks and streetlights punching the pavement.
Thinking of all the things you've done to make things worse.
I can't believe it's true, that you're not giving in.
Quiet down, sober up, cry in vain.
Watch me walk away.
You're falling deeper than you've been before.
You could never be the one for me
but now you're nothing at all.
As sober as you are, you've falling down...
So cry out the tears from your lungs, and fall away from everything.
Watch me walk away.
You're falling deeper than you've been before.
You could never be the one for me
