Horseshoes is an outdoor game played between two people (or two teams of two people) using four horseshoes and two throwing targets (stakes) set in a sandbox area. The game is played by the players alternating turns tossing horseshoes at stakes in the ground, which are traditionally placed 40 feet (12 m) apart. Modern games use a more stylized U-shaped bar, about twice the size of an actual horseshoe.
The National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHPA), the recognized governing body of the sport of horseshoe pitching in the United States, maintains an up-to-date set of rules, guidelines and specifications for the game on their website. Widely accepted as being the official way to play the game, they outline the style of play, the two most common scoring methods (cancellation and count-all), acceptable equipment, and exact court specifications as well as additional methods of organizing tournament and league competitions.

Have you been wonder whether or not horses need to have shoes? Watch this video to find out! Horses’ hooves continuously grow like our finger nails, so none of this causes any pain for the horse. During this entire process you can see that the horse is very compliant. The shoe needs to be the right size for the horse. The farrier will shape the shoe to make sure it fits properly. Then the shoe is nailed on. Farriers need to know and understand the anatomy of the hoof to make sure they do everything the right way to not cause injury to the horse. After about 6 to 8 weeks the farrier will see the horse again to remove shoes and put new ones on. WHAT THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW. Cytek established in the UK 1997 is a system that requires no extra tools or forgework. It results in fewer lost shoes and happier, sound and healthier horses. Prevent lameness and save money. The 95% cause of lameness in horses is traditional shoeing and trimming where safe anatomical working loads are ignored and rejected. CORRECT application of the Cytek shoe will arrest and prevent further damage to your horse. This horseshoe is Patented. Copyright Cytek Horseshoe Company Ltd. 2013. My sister Sue and me were doing stunts with electric trains
She said she'd do my dishes, so I handed her the reins
And she engineered a collision steered by a hand-eye protege
Before my train set started burning I heard my sister say
Look straight at the coming disaster
Realize what you've lost
You keep handing out horseshoes
Horseshoes have gotta be tossed.
I dreamed I went to heaven 'cause I told my lover lies
When I woke up I went to her and looked her in the eyes
I said "help me cry, 'cause I can't deny this union's feeling wrong"
Then a flshback to the dream and angels singing songs
Look straight at the coming disaster
Realize what you've lost
You keep handing out horseshoes
Horseshoes have gotta be tossed
Horseshoes have gotta be tossed.
Don't push the river; if you love it, set it free
I said "go on and see him, you can still come home to me"
I was satisfied, God was on our side
'Cause we're freer than the birds.
Sent me a letter. I didn't read it.
I already knew the words
Look straight at the coming disaster
Realize what you've lost
You keep handing out horseshoes
Horseshoes have gotta be tossed.
