Pros:
Solid software that is polished and looks great.
True 1080p Android 4.2.2 kernel and UI
Quality video playback.
Best touch screen remote control app I have ever used.
1TB drive is great. I just put all my favorite movies on there and my kids favorites too.
Screen mirroring looks and works great on the Note 3
To me this is a breakthrough from Samsung because its different then everything else out there.
Cons:
Only a VERY FEW apps available in Google play right now that can be installed on the homesync (side loading apps works pretty well if you can get the apk)
Homesync software not available from Google play for non Samsung phones
For full experience you have to have Note 3 or Galaxy S4.
Price, you have to pay for that 1tb of storage.
You also must put the power button (twice) to shutdown the Homesync
No remote may be a downside for some.
To side load the Homesync software do a Google search for com.sec.android.homesync.apk download

Media player is a term typically used to describe computer software for playing back multimedia files. Pros:
Solid software that is polished and looks great.
True 1080p Android 4.2.2 kernel and UI
Quality video playback.
Best touch screen remote control app I have ever used.
1TB drive is great. I just put all my favorite movies on there and my kids favorites too.
Screen mirroring looks and works great on the Note 3
To me this is a breakthrough from Samsung because its different then everything else out there.
Cons:
Only a VERY FEW apps available in Google play right now that can be installed on the homesync (side loading apps works pretty well if you can get the apk)
Homesync software not available from Google play for non Samsung phones
For full experience you have to have Note 3 or Galaxy S4.
Price, you have to pay for that 1tb of storage.
You also must put the power button (twice) to shutdown the Homesync
No remote may be a downside for some.
To side load the Homesync software do a Google search for com.sec.android.homesync.apk download
