Performing folk dances from Southern Italy, this Madison, Wisconsin-based group has performed at Festa Italia, Triangle Ethnic Fest, Columbian Dinner and other ethnic events. The dresses are handmade to maintain authenticity. Here they dance to a rich variety of Italian musical selections for an appreciative audience at Madison's Triangle Ethnic Fest on Aug. 21, 2011. This video has been produced in HD 720p format to present the option of the highest quality of picture. But the resulting larger file size may cause complications with some older computers and slower connections. Some viewing tips: 1) If you're viewing on a slower computer, you may need to "buffer" the content by pausing the video for a short time by toggling the play/pause button at lower left in the video window (which reappears during playback as you sweep your cursor over them). Pausing for several minutes pre-loads a portion of the video, so that your browser isn't constantly playing catch-up, and results in a smoother presentation. 2) You can also turn the HD feature off, which will make the videostream smaller and easier for your computer to handle. Wave your cursor over the bottom of the video window, and click on the "HD" label. The HD label goes dark, a message will then appear telling you that the HD setting is now off, and playback begins again from the start of the video. 3) You can also download the video, so that you can play it at your leisure, with no streaming delays. The means of doing this is found at right, just below this narrative, under the small "About this Video" banner. Please be aware that it's a relatively large file, at 1.7 gigabytes, and may take some time to download. 4) To view the video full screen, select the icon with the four diagonal arrows at lower right. 5) To share the video with others, use the controls that appear at upper right of the video window. The share option lets you email a link to the video to your friends, or link directly back to your Facebook page or other social media.
