Asif Ali, Career at a Glimpse
Asif Ali first appeared in 'Ritu' a Malayalam movie directed by Shyamaprasad. He was noticed for his character in this movie which marked his debut as an actor. He was then casted by Sathyan Anthikkad to play an important role in his film 'Kadha Thudarunnu'. His third film was Apoorvaragam directed by Sibi Malayil. Since then, he had acted in a number of films like Best of Luck, Traffic and Ithu Nammude Katha. In 2013 he appeared In Jean Paul Lal's directorial debut Honey Bee which was one of the top hits in his career. Asif later appeared in Bicycle Thieves, director Jissmon Joy's debut movie . Shabab in Sapthamashree Thaskaraha and the cameo role in Vellimoonga were some of the hits for him in the last year. Asif's 2015 movie Nirnayakam received positive reviews and feedbacks even from critics who appreciated his performance.

The son of Abu Talib, Ali was also the cousin and son-in-law of Islamic prophet Muhammad, ruling over the Islamic Caliphate from 656 to 661, and was the first male convert to Islam.Sunnis consider Ali the fourth and final of the Rashidun (rightly guided Caliphs), while Shias regard Ali as the first Imam and consider him and his descendants the rightful successors to Muhammad, all of which are members of the Ahl al-Bayt, the household of Muhammad. This disagreement split the Ummah (Muslim community) into the Sunni and Shia branches.
Muslim sources, especially Shia ones, state that since Muhammad's time, Ali was the only person born in the Kaaba sanctuary in Mecca, the holiest place in Islam. His father was Abu Talib and his mother was Fatima bint Asad, but he was raised in the household of Muhammad, who himself was raised by Abu Talib, Muhammad's uncle, and Ali's father. When Muhammad reported receiving a divine revelation, Ali was the first male to accept his message, dedicating his life to the cause of Islam.

Asif Ali (born 4 February 1986) is an Indian film actor who works in Malayalam cinema. He made his debut in 2009 in the acclaimed musical film Ritu. He has since performed in critical and commercial hits such as Traffic (2011), Salt N' Pepper (2011) and Ordinary (2012).
Asif Ali was born on 4 February 1986 in ranni. Later his family shifted to Karikkode near Thodupuzha in Idukki. His father's name is M.P. Shoukath Ali of Maravettikal House and mother's name is Molly. M.P. Shoukath Ali was the former Municipal Chairman of Thodupuzha Municipality. Asif also have a younger brother named Askar Ali. His initial schooling was at De Paul Public School, Thodupuzha and Rajarshi Memorial School, Puthankurishu, Ernakulam. He did his degree in Business Administration from Marian College, Kuttikkanam. One of his album song was "Aadhyamayi.." in Himamazhayil album. While pursuing a degree abroad, he modelled for ads, worked as a video jockey and was selected by Shyamaprasad to play one of the lead roles in his film Ritu. His family members wanted Asif to become an Engineer or business man but he wanted to become a film actor. Only after the release of the movie Ritu did Asif's family realize that he had acted in a film. But now the family members are happy to see him as a leading actor.

In his chat with I Me Myself, Asif Ali opened his mind on his debut and his wishes on becoming a film actor. Acting was something different than what I expected it to be, with open heart he confesses in this interview. He stepped into the Malayalam film industry through the Movie Ritu. Asif Ali, Career at a Glimpse
Asif Ali first appeared in 'Ritu' a Malayalam movie directed by Shyamaprasad. He was noticed for his character in this movie which marked his debut as an actor. He was then casted by Sathyan Anthikkad to play an important role in his film 'Kadha Thudarunnu'. His third film was Apoorvaragam directed by Sibi Malayil. Since then, he had acted in a number of films like Best of Luck, Traffic and Ithu Nammude Katha. In 2013 he appeared In Jean Paul Lal's directorial debut Honey Bee which was one of the top hits in his career. Asif later appeared in Bicycle Thieves, director Jissmon Joy's debut movie . Shabab in Sapthamashree Thaskaraha and the cameo role in Vellimoonga were some of the hits for him in the last year. Asif's 2015 movie Nirnayakam received positive reviews and feedbacks even from critics who appreciated his performance.
