Thanks Summary of video -- CPU speed - - Measured in GHz - CPU speed is not directly comparable across platforms. 4 GHz on AMD is not necessarily faster than 3.5 GHz on Intel - Can be increased through overclocking - Requires special cooling - All AMD CPUs can overclock while only "K" series Intel CPUs can overclock # of Cores - Video editing and multitasking craves more cores - A quad core is all you need for gaming - Intel i5's are quad cores. i7's are normally eight cores but in extreme cases can have 12 - AMD CPU's are named off of the # of cores. 4XXX = 4 cores. 6XXX= 6 cores. 8XXX= 8 cores - Most are not true 8+ core CPUs but we will not get into that in this video CPU Socket type - 4th generation Intel core processors use the 1150 socket - 3rd generation Intel core processors use the 1155 socket - 2011 is the highest performance and most expensive Intel platform - AMD FX uses the AM3+ socket - AMD A series APUs use the FM2 socket - CANNOT MISMATCH SOCKET AND CPU Summary - For gaming only I recommend a Intel i5 4670K or AMD FX 8350 - For multitasking I recommend an Intel i7 4770K or AMD FX 8350 - For cheap gaming I recommend an AMD A 6800K APU

This is footage of me playing Far cry 3 on my new computer. Specs: AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor CPU Speed: 4.0 GHz RAM: 8.2 GB Video card: AMD Radeon HD 6450 Sound card: ATI HDMI Audio OS: Windows 7 My system was overclocked whilst i recorded this video. But remember that recording lowers fps. On average the video was 30FPS in this video, without recording its around 40-50fps. All of the far cry 3 graphics settings had been set as low as possible. Please note, I am not a software/hardware expert i only uploaded this video to show other people with this graphics card how well it preformed when running Far cry 3.
