THE BEACON OF HOPE Sisters’ Summer Retreat 2016 Ustadha Iffet Pith Rafeeq |Ustadha Misba Khan| Ustadha Badriya Tahhan We are pleased to announce 'The Beacon of Hope', a women's only retreat. With the busyness of life we can easily neglect our personal needs, most importantly; our physical and spiritual needs. So join us as we rejuvenate ourselves in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Bala, North Wales, for four days and three amazing nights in the blessed company of Ustadha Iffet Pith Rafeeq, Ustadha Misba Khan and Ustadha Badriya Tahhan. Programme: The programme will run over 4 days (12th-15th August) and will include classes, workshops, gatherings of remembrance, as well as a wide range of activities including: • Canoeing • Rowing Boats • Raft Building • Rock Climbing • High Ropes • Archery • Basketball • Rounders Teachers: We are blessed to have direct access to female teachers who have studied at the feet of leading scholars such as Habib Umar bin Hafiz, Shaykh Muhammad Yaqoubi and Shaykh Gul Muhammad Al Azhari. Dates: Friday 12th August (afternoon) until Monday 15th August (afternoon) Accommodation: Situated in North Wales, Glann Llyn is a 600 acre site with stunning views overlooking Lake Bala. Students will be sharing en-suite bedrooms which can accommodate up to eight people. Travel: Free travel from and to the venue will be available. The coaches will leave from Oldham and Manchester. (Seats on the coach are limited therefore we will be giving them on a first come first serve bases) Children: Children are welcome to attend the retreat (Places for children on the retreat are limited therefore places will be given on a first come first serve bases) Crèche will be made available for children between 2-11 years old over the weekend. Children younger than 2 and boys only up to the age of 9 are welcome. Meals: All meals will be provided including refreshments.
