Commando is a 1985 action film by Mark L. Lester, and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Rae Dawn Chong in english. Do you love 80s action flicks? Then Commando is likely a film close to your heart. As a blend of 1985 deadpan humour, outlandish plot, and the type of invincible action that Arnold Schwarzenegger does best, it's hard not to enjoy this fast-paced comic thriller. It's hard to get excited about the picture quality. It's only commando full movie marginally better than VHS.

Résumé
Ancien membre des commandos d’élite, le colonel John Matrix mène une existence paisible aux côtés de sa fille Jenny.
Mais le général Arius, ancien ennemi de Matrix et dictateur déchu du Valverde, kidnappe Jenny et impose à Matrix, s’il tient à revoir sa fille vivante, d’assassiner l’actuel président du pays. C’est en fait Bennett, un ancien membre déchu de l’équipe de Matrix, qui manipule adroitement le dictateur. Sa seule intention, derrière ce coup d’État voué à l’échec, est de déclencher la folie meurtrière de Matrix afin de le pousser à la faute.
Avec l’aide de Cindy, une jeune hôtesse de l’air entraînée de force par Matrix, ce dernier pourra retrouver sa fille retenue prisonnière. Bennett pense tenir sa vengeance mais ce sera, évidemment, sans compter sur les « ressources » spectaculaires de l’homme de guerre John Matrix...

John (Arnold Schwarzenegger) attacks Arius' compound with all of his firepower and resourcefulness.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Colonel Matrix (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is retired and living peaceably with his 10-year-old daughter (Alyssa Milano) when she is kidnapped by the henchmen of an exiled Latin American dictator. The dictator's plan is to reinstate himself in power by eliminating the president of his country, using Matrix to kill him (or he will kill the kidnapped daughter). Matrix escapes from the plane that is supposed to be carrying him to his mission and then proceeds to go from one violent confrontation to the next as he hunts down the dictator and moves to rescue his daughter. Helping him is Cindy (Rae Dawn Chong), who has her own reasons for wanting the dictator dead.

Commando is a 1985 American action film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Vernon Wells, Rae Dawn Chong, Alyssa Milano, Bill Duke, Dan Hedaya and James Olson. It was directed by Mark L. Lester and shot on location in and around Los Angeles, California.
The film was nominated for a Saturn Award in 1986 for Best Special Effects but lost to James Cameron's Aliens, another movie with music provided by James Horner from Commando. A critical success and commercial hit, Commando is the 7th highest grossing movie of 1985 worldwide.
Retired Delta Operative Colonel John Matrix is informed by his former superior Major General Franklin Kirby that all the other members of his unit have been killed by unknown mercenaries. Despite being given protection, the mercenaries attack Matrix’s secluded mountain home, kill Kirby’s men and kidnap Matrix’s young daughter Jenny. Matrix desperately gives chase in his truck, but finds the brakes have been tampered with and eventually loses control, crashing the vehicle. He is then cornered by a group of thugs who eventually overpower him, and he is shot with a tranquilizer gun by his former colleague Bennett, who was believed to have been assassinated as well.

Plot: The story of the SOE "finishing school" on the Beaulieu estate. During World War II, the Special Operations Executive (SOE) was created by 'Winston Churchill (I)' (qv) and was tasked to "Set Europe Ablaze". They trained secret agents and sent them behind enemy lines in Europe and around the world. After being trained in physical fitness, self-defence, unarmed combat and other survival skills, sabotage and the use of weapons and explosives as well as radio communications the agents were sent to Beaulieu which acted as a finishing school. There they were subject to psychological evaluation and taught the finer points of surviving behind enemy lines. This documentary tells the story of some of the agents who passed through Churchill's Spy School and along with contemporary footage of their training talks to some of the surviving agents and those who trained them.

Plot: The pursuit of a serial killer leads to a deeper evil. When the government captures a vampire he is imprisoned and subjected to brutal medical experiment. Plot: It all started when a bunch of commandos (including Jackie of course) kidnapped three scientist who were studying very powerful meteorite fragments. The mission was a success - until one of their superiors double crossed them. The commandos were then killed in a chopper crash, except Jackie who fell out of the chopper. After that, Jackie was picked up by a a tribe of South African Indians, who then asked him his name. Sadly, Jackie had lost his memory and shouted 'Who Am I?!' which led the Indians to think that it was his name. So he started learning their cultures and customs, while also trying to pick up their language. Later, he started having memories of things that happened before the crash, and he decided to leave the Indians in search for his identity...

John (Arnold Schwarzenegger) attacks Arius' compound with all of his firepower and resourcefulness.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Colonel Matrix (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is retired and living peaceably with his 10-year-old daughter (Alyssa Milano) when she is kidnapped by the henchmen of an exiled Latin American dictator. The dictator's plan is to reinstate himself in power by eliminating the president of his country, using Matrix to kill him (or he will kill the kidnapped daughter). Matrix escapes from the plane that is supposed to be carrying him to his mission and then proceeds to go from one violent confrontation to the next as he hunts down the dictator and moves to rescue his daughter. Helping him is Cindy (Rae Dawn Chong), who has her own reasons for wanting the dictator dead.
