New Jersey is a state in the Northeastern and Middle Atlantic regions of the United States. It is bordered on the north and east by New York, on the southeast and south by the Atlantic Ocean, on the west by Pennsylvania, and on the southwest by Delaware. New Jersey is the fourth-smallest state, but the 11th-most populous and the most densely populated of the 50 United States. New Jersey lies entirely within the combined statistical areas of New York City and Philadelphia and is the second-wealthiest U.S. state by median household income as of 2014.
New Jersey was inhabited by Native Americans for more than 2,800 years, with historical tribes such as the Lenape along the coast. In the early 17th century, the Dutch and the Swedes made the first European settlements. The English later seized control of the region, naming it the Province of New Jersey after the largest of the Channel Islands, Jersey, and granting it as a colony to Sir George Carteret and John Berkeley, 1st Baron Berkeley of Stratton. New Jersey was the site of several decisive battles during the American Revolutionary War in the 18th century.
Jersey (/ˈdʒɜːrzi/, French: [ʒɛʁzɛ]; Jèrriais: Jèrri [ʒɛri]), officially the Bailiwick of Jersey (French: Bailliage de Jersey; Jèrriais: Bailliage dé Jèrri), is a Crown dependency of the United Kingdom, a possession of the Crown in right of Jersey, off the coast of Normandy, France. The bailiwick consists of the island of Jersey, along with surrounding uninhabited islands and rocks collectively named Les Dirouilles, Les Écréhous, Les Minquiers, Les Pierres de Lecq, and other reefs. Jersey was part of the Duchy of Normandy, whose dukes went on to become kings of England from 1066. After Normandy was lost by the kings of England in the thirteenth century, and the ducal title surrendered to France, Jersey and the other Channel Islands remained attached to the English crown.
Jersey is a self-governing parliamentary democracy under a constitutional monarchy, with its own financial, legal and judicial systems, and the power of self-determination.
The island of Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands. Although the Bailiwicks of Jersey and Guernsey are often referred to collectively as the Channel Islands, the "Channel Islands" are not a constitutional or political unit. Jersey has a separate relationship to its Crown from the other Crown dependencies of Guernsey and the Isle of Man, although all three Crowns are held by the monarch of the United Kingdom. It is not part of the United Kingdom, and has an international identity separate from that of the UK, but the United Kingdom is constitutionally responsible for the defence of Jersey. The Commission have confirmed in a written reply to the European Parliament in 2003 that Jersey is within the Union as a European Territory for whose external relationships the United Kingdom is responsible. Jersey is not fully part of the European Union but has a special relationship with it, notably being treated as within the European Community for the purposes of free trade in goods.
Main Street is a generic phrase used to denote a primary retail street of a village, town or small city in many parts of the world. It is usually a focal point for shops and retailers in the central business district, and is most often used in reference to retailing and socializing.
The term is commonly used in Ireland, Scotland, the United States, Canada, and less often in Australia and New Zealand. In most of the United Kingdom the common description is High Street. However, the term "Main Street" is sometimes used in the UK, for instance, in the village of Sutton Cheney. In Jamaica the term is Front Street. In some parts of the south west of England the equivalent used is Fore Street.
In some larger cities, there may be several Main Streets, each relating to a specific neighborhood or formerly separate city, rather than the city as a whole. In many larger U.S. cities "Main Street" is a U.S. Highway; "Main Street of America" branding was used to promote U.S. Route 66 in its heyday.
Bogota is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 8,187, reflecting a decline of 62 (-0.8%) from the 8,249 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 425 (+5.4%) from the 7,824 counted in the 1990 Census.
Bogota was formed on November 14, 1894, from portions of Ridgefield Township, based on the results of a referendum held that day. The borough was formed during the "Boroughitis" phenomenon then sweeping through Bergen County, in which 26 boroughs were formed in the county in 1894 alone. Portions of Bogota were taken in 1895 to form part of the newly created Township of Teaneck. Bogota was named in honor of the Bogert family, which had been the first to occupy the area, and may also be a portmanteau of Bogert and Banta, another early family, with an "O" added to ease pronunciation.
The borough's name is pronounced /bəˈɡoʊtə/ buh-GO-ta, unlike Bogotá, capital city of Colombia, whose name is accented on the final syllable. Coincidentally, 1.54% of Bogota's residents are from Colombia.
Bogotá (/ˌbɒɡəˈtɑː/, /ˌboʊɡəˈtɑː/; Spanish pronunciation: [boɣoˈta]) officially Bogotá, Distrito Capital, abbreviated Bogotá, D.C (during the time of Spanish rule and from 1991-2000 called Santafé de Bogotá) is the capital of Colombia and the department of Cundinamarca. It is administered as Capital District, and has autonomy in the management of its interests within the limits of the Constitution and the law. Bogotá is a territorial entity of the first order, with administrative powers that the law gives to the departments. It consists of 20 localities and is the political, economic, administrative, industrial, artistic, cultural, sports and tourist epicenter of the country.
It is located in the center of Colombia, in the natural region known as the Bogotá savanna, which is part of Altiplano Cundiboyacense formation located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes. It is the third highest capital in South America (after La Paz and Quito), at an average 2625 meters above sea level.
It has a length of 33 km (21 mi) from south to north, and 16 km (10 mi) from east to west. As the capital, home to senior agencies of the executive branch (President's Office), legislative (Congress of Colombia) and judicial (Supreme Court, Constitutional Court, Council of State and the Superior Council of the Judiciary).

Hello Bogota, Main Street's holiday decorations should be a sign of hope during our Thanksgiving Holiday. Sadly, that is not the case here in Bogota NJ, as you can see in the photos and as you take a walk on Main Street. During the last several years, the holiday displays have been discouraging. There is the perception of a lack of prosperity in Bogota. Hopelessness is depicted on Main Street. There is the perception of poverty in Bogota, rather than affluence and success. If one walks around, you would think it was a safe, prosperous and wonderful place to raise children. And, it is a wonderful place to raise a family! I have asked children, teen and adults walking down Main Street to share the one word or one feeling that comes to mind when they look at our Thanksgiving/Fal...

When in New Jersey, we always visit New York. This time the boys watched the Broadway play Shrek while Emma and Rae watched the Broadway play Little Mermaid. After that we went to the M&M; store, stolled around Time Square, and ate at McD's while Rae did some sidewalk vendor shopping. We had a great time! NY was particularly very busy at this time with plenty of tourists like us because it was just the 4th of July holiday yesterday. As you can see parang piyesta kahit saan ka pumunta.

Re-Membering Our Prodigals Rev. Mike Lamson May 6, 2012 Thank you. Wow, what a warm welcome. It’s an amazing feeling to be up here and see this. When I was asked to give the sermon by our senior pastor, I realized as I thought about it that this will be the fifth sermon I’ve ever given in my life. Can you imagine? I’ve always been the kind of person who looks for the talents that people have, and I want to support other people in bringing out those talents. So it was quite a shock for me when I realized I’m going to be the one up at this podium this time. Good morning and welcome to Lovin’Life Ministries at the beautiful Manhattan Center in New York City. I must say that things look a lot different from up here. I think all of you should try this sometime. I want to thank everyone from...

Aside from literally sleeping in feces, these people are dodging rats, flash floods and drug addicts. Encore une journ?e ? mon calendrier
Je pleure
Les yeux ouverts mais
La porte est ferm?e
Et tous ces amants inconscients
S'?cartent en traversant
Un jardin dor?
Qui les retient
Oh non qui les retient prisonniers
Je ne t'ai jamais dit
A quel point je t'aimais
Je ne te l'ai jamais ...non montr?
Mais ? la suite d'une erreur
Je n'entends plus
Je n'entends plus que mes pleurs
Je ne t'ai jamais dit
A quel point je t'aimais
Je ne te l'ai jamais d?montr?
Mais ? la suite d'une erreur
Je n'entends plus
Je n'entends plus que mes pleurs
10 heures
Le monde ext?rieur ? affronter
J'ai peur
Tous ces hypocrites ? regarder
Et tout doucement
Difficilement
J'arrive ? rester l?
Pour ne pas basculer
Et tous ces gens
Consciemment
S'?cartent en traversant
De peur de donner
Sans jamais retrouver
Partout l?
On entend
Je ne t'ai jamais dit
Je ne t'ai jamais rien promis
Oh non
Tu n'es pas des miens
Tu n'auras rien
Alors je trace mon chemin
Je ne t'ai jamais rien dit
Non rien promis
Tu n'es pas des miens
Tu n'auras rien
Alors je trace mon chemin
C'est vrai que la vie
Est bien plus jolie
Bien plus aussi
Alors je suis d?sol?
Mais vous comprendrez
Je dois m'en aller
