First time riding moelfre, awesome fast track. The only video I had where mud didn't get stuck to the GoPro, not the best or very fast but worth an upload.

Flinders Bay Cottage is a bright, modern house at the end of a row of 4 in a quiet location in the picturesque village of Moelfre. Within easy walking distance of the shingle beach, pub, shops, cafe and restaurant and with easy access to the Anglesey Coastal footpath. Ideally located, very well equipped and with underfloor heating downstairs and full central heating happy holidays can be enjoyed here all year round.

A run down moelfre, first time here so a bit sketchy in places
The gales of the night before had blown through and the morning's thunderstorms had followed them. Boat launched with no issues and we were bobbing along quite happily on our way to what was shaping up to be a great day's diving when suddenly the engine revs went sky-high and we lost power. A rather sheepish call to Holyhead Coastguard led to what you see here. A huge thank you to the coxswain and crew of Moelfre Lifeboat "Kiwi" who were brilliant. They towed us back to Bull Bay, gave us a very welcome hot drink and even gave us a copy of their video which is what you see here. Might be you next time! Just a few clips I filmed on 20th August 2011 at the RNLI Moelfre Lifeboat Day.
A warm summers day spent at the uplift service at Moelfre. Warm weather, steep dry hills and a downhill bike = Perfect.

Postman: Helge Preuss Starting in the sight of the Snowdonia mountain range, the walk moves on to Llanbadrig, with the picturesque church of St Patrick situated on the cliff face, supposedly founded by St Patrick after being shipwrecked in the 5th Century. There are more stunning coastal views to be found around the Holyhead Mountain, featuring a fantastic spot for bird watching of many species, as well as strolls around the beaches on the Southwest part of the island. Helge has worked for Royal Mail for over 30 years, and has delivered all over the Isle of Anglesey in that time.

noodls 2014-09-03Moelfre is a village and community on the east coast of Isle of Anglesey in Wales, and on the Anglesey Coastal Path. It has a population of 1,129.The Royal Mail postcode begins LL72.
It was the site of the wreck in 1859 of the hybrid ship The Royal Charter near the end of its voyage from Australia to Liverpool. The village today has 502 households and 5% unemployment. In the village there is a bakery, a fish and chip shop, one restaurant, Ann's Pantry, the Oak Lodge Inn (which trades as a pub, a bed and breakfast and a restaurant), and a second pub, The Kinmel Arms Hotel. There were no street lights in the village until well after the Second World War.
Moelfre RNLI Lifeboat Station is open to the public, and has a famous history, including the Hindlea rescue in 1959, when all the crew were rescued.
This area is popular as it is right by the large sandy beach Traeth Lligwy, which is an excellent spot for water and beach sports, and the ancient stone homestead of Din Lligwy. Nearby Ynys Moelfre is also a haven for birds, and seals and porpoises may be seen. The village is easily accessible being only 5 minutes from the A5025. The nearest mainline railway stations are in Bangor and Llanfairpwllgwyngyll. These can be reached in under half an hour on the bus services which run through the village.
Those delirious ideas of mine that always adores me
Cannot come from outside
My head is an expanse of spite
From which the tributaries of my torrents have
Disappeared
Images so coveted when they come to me
I would like my mirage to take me
Far away, where everything is extinguished
Far from the endless days
A place where time itself is altered
And who, where checks and neutralizes itself
And dries my thoughts into a desert of obsession
It tarnishes the colours of successive centuries
Incapable of reactiving his hours
He obeys my reigning ideal
Arid derision of reason is conceived
Rationality wrings itself of its liquid
We will mop up that fluid logic
My dreaming was pratically swallowed up
But escaped from what destiny foretells
When you washed up on my shores
Poetry set in on this coast
It is the most sordid, the cruellest
That which makes the shores pile up
Illusion drinks of what it will lose
