Here, in the first part, the scenes are taken from " La maschera del demonio" (Black Sunday) 1960 ; "La ragazza che sapeva troppo" (The girl who knew too much) 1963; "I tre volti della paura" (Black Sabbath) 1963; "Sei donne per l'assassino (Blood and black lace) 1964 and "Operazione paura" (Kill baby, kill!) 1966!
Mario Bava is known as the first great director of the italian horror: his movies are miliar stones for directors like Argento, Tarantino, Burton, Dante, Romero, Craven and many others who took many ideas from Bava making them often stereotypical in most recent movies. eg: the killer with a raincoat and the mask, razor as a fatal wapon, a dropping sink or a telephone ringing when we are alone as elements to create suspense etc Bava is also famous for his great colours (he was also a light designer), his visual tricks, his large use of zoom an distorsions and his ability in playing with the focus.

En 1972, Mario Bava estrenó Orgía de sangre (Baron Blood), conocida con el poco agraciado título Gli orrori del castello di Norimberga en Italia, un film con el cual el maestro regresaba al terror gótico que le había dado fama pero añadiéndole un toque moderno.
El joven Peter Kleist (Antonio Cantafora) viaja hasta Austria para familiarizarse con el pasado ancestral de su familia. Allí es recibido por su tío, el doctor Karl Hummel (Massimo Girotti), el cual le habla de un terrible antepasado suyo: el barón Otto von Kleist, más conocido como el "barón sangriento". El doctor también le presenta a Peter a la joven estudiante de arquitectura Eva Arnold (Elke Sommer), que trabaja en las obras de restauración del antiguo castillo del malvado barón. Peter y Eva, leyendo un antiguo pergamino, resucitan al barón que inmediatamente empieza a continuar sus sangrientas actividades. Con el pergamino destruido, ¿podrán Peter y Eva detener los terribles crímenes del barón?

Tre balordi (Dottore, Trentadue e Bisturi) rapinano le paghe settimanali di un'industria farmaceutica: per fuggire salgono, con una donna in ostaggio, a bordo di un'auto guidata da un uomo che sta portando il figlioletto in fin di vita all'ospedale. Presto la tensione sale, con conseguenze inaspettate. Cani Arrabbiati è il film maledetto di Bava che nessuno ha mai visto al cinema perché, una volta portato a termine, il produttore Roberto Loyola andò in bancarotta e non lo poté distribuire.

Mario Bava
Mario Bava (31 July 1914 – 27 April 1980) was an Italian director, screenwriter, special effects artist and cinematographer from the "golden age" of Italian horror films. His work kick-started the giallo film genre and the modern "slasher film".
Biography
Mario Bava was born in Sanremo, Liguria on 31 July 1914. He is the son of Eugenio Bava (1886-1966), a sculptor who also worked as a special effects photographer and cameraman in the Italian silent movie industry. Mario Bava's first ambition was to become a painter. Unable to turn out paintings at a profitable rate, he went into his father's business, working as an assistant to other Italian cinematographers like Massimo Terzano. He also helped his father at the special effects department at Benito Mussolini's film factory, the Istituto LUCE.
Bava became a cinematographer in his own right in 1939, shooting two short films with Roberto Rossellini. He made his feature debut in the early 1940s. Bava's camerawork was an instrumental factor in developing the screen personas of such stars of the period as Gina Lollobrigida, Steve Reeves and Aldo Fabrizi.

Mario Bava is known as the first great director of the italian horror: his movies are miliar stones for directors like Argento, Tarantino, Burton, Dante, Romero, Craven and many others who took many ideas from Bava making them often stereotypical in most recent movies. eg: the killer with a raincoat and the mask, razor as a fatal wapon, a dropping sink or a telephone ringing when we are alone as elements to create suspense etc Bava is also famous for his great colours (he was also a light designer), his visual tricks, his large use of zoom an distorsions and his ability in playing with the focus.

En 1972, Mario Bava estrenó Orgía de sangre (Baron Blood), conocida con el poco agraciado título Gli orrori del castello di Norimberga en Italia, un film con el cual el maestro regresaba al terror gótico que le había dado fama pero añadiéndole un toque moderno.
El joven Peter Kleist (Antonio Cantafora) viaja hasta Austria para familiarizarse con el pasado ancestral de su familia. Allí es recibido por su tío, el doctor Karl Hummel (Massimo Girotti), el cual le habla de un terrible antepasado suyo: el barón Otto von Kleist, más conocido como el "barón sangriento". El doctor también le presenta a Peter a la joven estudiante de arquitectura Eva Arnold (Elke Sommer), que trabaja en las obras de restauración del antiguo castillo del malvado barón. Peter y Eva, leyendo un antiguo pergamino, resucitan al barón que inmediatamente empieza a continuar sus sangrientas actividades.
