Acoustic Sundays announce first of the Summer Sessions

Get your festival fix without leaving the borough as Acoustic Sundays brings the sounds of summer to the heart of Hackney all season long.

In June, Acoustic Sundays returns to St Peter’s Church Hackney with a twist, transforming De Bouvoir Square into a mini festival as Edgar Wallace Exchange, Emily Evans, Kat Kenna, Penniless Cove,Kings Paradeand open mic musicians perform all afternoon from 2pm .Look out for guest MCs Bree Louise as they pay Acoustic Sundays a visit before taking their show up to Edinburgh Festival this August.

As always, our pop-up bar will be selling local and sensibly priceddrinks – with beers from London Fields, gin and vodka from East Liquor Company and soft drinks from Hackney Downs. London's original fish finger bad boys 2 Fingers will be offering up “The Ultimate Fish Finger Sandwich Experience” - with all produce sustainably sourced and responsibly caught.

Dates for this summer’s Acoustic Sundays afternoons are confirmed for the 3rd July, 7th August and 4th September - keep your eyes peeled for full line ups and more summer sessions to be announced.
