Brian Cid has this unique groove in almost all of his productions...he loves to use the reverb in a certain way, it's almost like you're exiting a tunnel, it's echoing from left and right and suddenly it stops, the sun from outside is blinding you just before you can adept to it and have a clear vision...that clear vision always comes, when his awesome groove hits. "Pluto" is no exception here...Brian has produced this one in a state of mind, when he re-discovers his darkest yet most sensitive memories . An atmosphere that has a deep impact on a human, which also relates to the most creative moments in your life....the most creative people have also always been the most emotional or most broken-hearted...creativity is a way to escape from the real world and gives you tools to build something better, something to protect you from whatever it is, that bugs you. The release begins with its title and showcase piece 'Pluto' which finds Brian crafting one of his most distinctive creations to date. Beginning with a deep, astral intro the piece flows through a myriad of esoteric designs and luminous textures. Organic percussion and meditative rhythms resonate at the core while one of Brian's most extraordinary grooves anchors the foundation. A cosmic piece and one which Thugfucker has been showcasing in their sets for many months. For Brian it was unique production, as he describes "Pluto explores a side of me that doesn't come out very often. A deep, emotional piece that brings up my darkest yet most sensitive memories. It's this state of mind where the name ultimately originates from - the furthest and coldest planet of our solar system. I wanted the melodies to make a strong statement. Spacey tones that grow in layers, leading to a percussive explosion - landing on a groove without warning. Me accessing a new unexplored sonic world. Memorable sounds that set strong, mysterious vibes and driving energy. This track navigates through a hidden pain within me, one where I'm getting to know myself. That's why for the longest time this record has been one of my most precious creations, reserved for only very unique moments.

Dunno how many hours I spent on this, but if I had to guess I'd say more than 70. As with V1.0 I did the entire video on 1.2.5. Despite that I still got around to updating the shaders to 1.6 and I'll have a MinecraftForums link for it lower in the description.
I originally started working on the video back late September with the release of the song. I finished the main work in about a week or two, and then sent it off to my friend to try and record the final version in 1080p. He couldn't do this as the game would not stop crashing. I was planning to release the video in 720p when another friend who runs a data center said he could help. He tried recording the video over 30 different times and got one or two to complete, but upon sending me them we found that the recording fps of Minema had been overwridden and they had recorded in 15 fps. Blame Mojang for no 1080p.
I was able to record at a solid 60 fps (an improvement from V1.0's 30 fps).
The track is about 33 minutes from side to side, and is around 16,000 blocks. The video is speed up 8 times. I synced the outposts with the song by recording the video with the coordinates on, and then making a list of coordinate positions for outposts that synced with parts in the video. More than half of the work was just syncing the torches.

Acid Shaders (modified by me) - Commonly known Acid Shaders, tweaked a few things and rewrote the Worldtime usage to look like this:

Explosion
An explosion is a rapid increase in volume and release of energy in an extreme manner, usually with the generation of high temperatures and the release of gases. Supersonic explosions created by high explosives are known as detonations and travel via supersonic shock waves. Subsonic explosions are created by low explosives through a slower burning process known as deflagration. When caused by a man-made device such as an exploding rocket or firework, the audible component of an explosion is referred to as its "report" (which can also be used as a verb, e.g., "the rocket reported loudly upon impact".)
Causes
Natural
Explosions can occur in nature. Most natural explosions arise from volcanic processes of various sorts. Explosive volcanic eruptions occur when magma rising from below has much dissolved gas in it; the reduction of pressure as the magma rises causes the gas to bubble out of solution, resulting in a rapid increase in volume. Explosions also occur as a result of impact events and in phenomena such as hydrothermal explosions (also due to volcanic processes). Explosions can also occur outside of Earth in the universe in events such as supernova. Explosions frequently occur during bushfires in eucalyptus forests where the volatile oils in the tree tops suddenly combust.

Wakefulness
Wakefulness is a daily recurring brain state and state of consciousness in which an individual is conscious and engages in coherent cognitive and behavioral responses to the external world such as communication, ambulation, eating, and sex. Being awake is the opposite of the state of being asleep in which most external inputs to the brain are excluded from neural processing.
Effects upon the brain
The longer the brain has been awake, the greater the spontaneous firing rates of cerebral cortex neurons with this increase being reversed by sleep. Another effect of wakefulness (which may or may not be related to this) is that it lowers the small stores of glycogen held in the astrocytes that can supply energy to the brain's neurons—one of the functions of sleep, it has been proposed, is to create the opportunity for them to be replenished.
Maintenance by the brain
Wakefulness is produced by a complex interaction between multiple neurotransmitter systems arising in the brainstem and ascending through the midbrain, hypothalamus, thalamus and basal forebrain. The posterior hypothalamus plays a key role in the maintenance of the cortical activation that underlies wakefulness. Several systems originating in this part of the brain control the shift from wakefulness into sleep and sleep into wakefulness. Histamine neurons in the tuberomammillary nucleus and nearby adjacent posterior hypothalamus project to the entire brain and are the most wake-selective system so far identified in the brain. Another key system is that provided by the orexins (also known as hypocretins) projecting neurons. These exist in areas adjacent to histamine neurons and like them project widely to most brain areas and associate with arousal. Orexin deficiency has been identified as responsible for narcolepsy.

Minecraft
Minecraft is a sandbox video game originally created by Swedish programmer Markus "Notch" Persson and later developed and published by Mojang. The creative and building aspects of Minecraft enable players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Other activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat. Multiple gameplay modes are available, including survival mode where the player must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, a creative mode where players have unlimited resources to build with and the ability to fly, an adventure mode where players play custom maps created by other players, and a spectator mode where players can fly around and clip through blocks, but cannot place or destroy any. The PC version of the game is renowned for its third-party mods, which add various new items, characters, worlds, and quests to the game.
The alpha version was publicly released for PC on May 17, 2009, and after gradual updates, the full version was released on November 18, 2011. A version for Android was released a month earlier on October 7, and an iOS version was released on November 17, 2011. The game was released on the Xbox 360 as an Xbox Live Arcade game on May 9, 2012; on the PlayStation 3 on December 17, 2013; on the PlayStation 4 on September 4, 2014; on the Xbox One the next day; on the PlayStation Vita on October 14, 2014; and on the Wii U on December 17, 2015. On December 10, 2014, a Windows Phone version was released. All versions of Minecraft receive periodic updates, with the console editions being co-developed by 4J Studios.

Dunno how many hours I spent on this, but if I had to guess I'd say more than 70. As with V1.0 I did the entire video on 1.2.5. Despite that I still got around to updating the shaders to 1.6 and I'll have a MinecraftForums link for it lower in the description. I originally started working on the video back late September with the release of the song. I finished the main work in about a week or two, and then sent it off to my friend to try and record the final version in 1080p. He couldn't do this as the game would not stop crashing. I was planning to release the video in 720p when another friend who runs a data center said he could help. He tried recording the video over 30 different times and got one or two to complete, but upon sending me them we found that the recording fps of Minema had been overwridden and they had recorded in 15 fps. Blame Mojang for no 1080p. I was able to record at a solid 60 fps (an improvement from V1.0's 30 fps). The track is about 33 minutes from side to side, and is around 16,000 blocks. The video is speed up 8 times. I synced the outposts with the song by recording the video with the coordinates on, and then making a list of coordinate positions for outposts that synced with parts in the video. The script I made sets the correct time, recursively kills NPCs and holds down the forward key, which drives the minecart thanks to Zombe's Modpack. The release begins with its title and showcase piece 'Pluto' which finds Brian crafting one of his most distinctive creations to date. Beginning with a deep, astral intro the piece flows through a myriad of esoteric designs and luminous textures. Organic percussion and meditative rhythms resonate at the core while one of Brian's most extraordinary grooves anchors the foundation. A cosmic piece and one which Thugfucker has been showcasing in their sets for many months. For Brian it was unique production, as he describes "Pluto explores a side of me that doesn't come out very often. A deep, emotional piece that brings up my darkest yet most sensitive memories. It's this state of mind where the name ultimately originates from - the furthest and coldest planet of our solar system. I wanted the melodies to make a strong statement. Spacey tones that grow in layers, leading to a percussive explosion - landing on a groove without warning. Me accessing a new unexplored sonic world. Memorable sounds that set strong, mysterious vibes and driving energy. This track navigates through a hidden pain within me, one where I'm getting to know myself. That's why for the longest time this record has been one of my most precious creations, reserved for only very unique moments.

Dunno how many hours I spent on this, but if I had to guess I'd say more than 70. As with V1.0 I did the entire video on 1.2.5. Despite that I still got around to updating the shaders to 1.6 and I'll have a MinecraftForums link for it lower in the description.
I originally started working on the video back late September with the release of the song. I finished the main work in about a week or two, and then sent it off to my friend to try and record the final version in 1080p. He couldn't do this as the game would not stop crashing. I was planning to release the video in 720p when another friend who runs a data center said he could help. He tried recording the video over 30 different times and got one or two to complete, but upon sending me them we found that the recording fps of Minema had been overwridden and they had recorded in 15 fps. Blame Mojang for no 1080p.
I was able to record at a solid 60 fps (an improvement from V1.0's 30 fps).
The track is about 33 minutes from side to side, and is around 16,000 blocks. The video is speed up 8 times. I synced the outposts with the song by recording the video with the coordinates on, and then making a list of coordinate positions for outposts that synced with parts in the video. More than half of the work was just syncing the torches.

Generator Ports - Generate Beta 1.7.3 terrain, and thus Far lands
GLSL Shaders (modified by me) - GLSL 1.2.5 modified to include a Moon Phase variable, otherwise when the ingame clock goes from 23999 to 0 the Acid Shader distortion jumps back to its default state.
Acid Shaders (modified by me) - Commonly known Acid Shaders, tweaked a few things and rewrote the Worldtime usage to look like this:
newWorldTime = worldTime + (23999 * moonPhase);
Macros and Keybinds - Lots of things. The script I made sets the correct time, recursively kills NPCs and holds down the forward key, which drives the minecart thanks to Zombe's Modpack.

The release begins with its title and showcase piece 'Pluto' which finds Brian crafting one of his most distinctive creations to date. Beginning with a deep, astral intro the piece flows through a myriad of esoteric designs and luminous textures. Organic percussion and meditative rhythms resonate at the core while one of Brian's most extraordinary grooves anchors the foundation. A cosmic piece and one which Thugfucker has been showcasing in their sets for many months. For Brian it was unique production, as he describes "Pluto explores a side of me that doesn't come out very often. A deep, emotional piece that brings up my darkest yet most sensitive memories. It's this state of mind where the name ultimately originates from - the furthest and coldest planet of our solar system. I wanted the melodies to make a strong statement. Spacey tones that grow in layers, leading to a percussive explosion - landing on a groove without warning. Me accessing a new unexplored sonic world. Memorable sounds that set strong, mysterious vibes and driving energy. This track navigates through a hidden pain within me, one where I'm getting to know myself. Dunno how many hours I spent on this, but if I had to guess I'd say more than 70. As with V1.0 I did the entire video on 1.2.5. Despite that I still got around to updating the shaders to 1.6 and I'll have a MinecraftForums link for it lower in the description.
I originally started working on the video back late September with the release of the song. I finished the main work in about a week or two, and then sent it off to my friend to try and record the final version in 1080p. He couldn't do this as the game would not stop crashing. I was planning to release the video in 720p when another friend who runs a data center said he could help. He tried recording the video over 30 different times and got one or two to complete, but upon sending me them we found that the recording fps of Minema had been overwridden and they had recorded in 15 fps. Blame Mojang for no 1080p.
I was able to record at a solid 60 fps (an improvement from V1.0's 30 fps).
The track is about 33 minutes from side to side, and is around 16,000 blocks. The video is speed up 8 times. I synced the outposts with the song by recording the video with the coordinates on, and then making a list of coordinate positions for outposts that synced with parts in the video. More than half of the work was just syncing the torches.

Dunno how many hours I spent on this, but if I had to guess I'd say more than 70. As with V1.0 I did the entire video on 1.2.5. Despite that I still got around to updating the shaders to 1.6 and I'll have a MinecraftForums link for it lower in the description.
I originally started working on the video back late September with the release of the song. I finished the main work in about a week or two, and then sent it off to my friend to try and record the final version in 1080p. He couldn't do this as the game would not stop crashing. I was planning to release the video in 720p when another friend who runs a data center said he could help. He tried recording the video over 30 different times and got one or two to complete, but upon sending me them we found that the recording fps of Minema had been overwridden and they had recorded in 15 fps. Blame Mojang for no 1080p.
I was able to record at a solid 60 fps (an improvement from V1.0's 30 fps).
The track is about 33 minutes from side to side, and is around 16,000 blocks. The video is speed up 8 times. I synced the outposts with the song by recording the video with the coordinates on, and then making a list of coordinate positions for outposts that synced with parts in the video. More than half of the work was just syncing the torches.

Mods used:
Generator Ports - Generate Beta 1.7.3 terrain, and thus Far lands
GLSL Shaders (modified by me) - GLSL 1.2.5 modified to include a Moon Phase variable, otherwise when the ingame clock goes from 23999 to 0 the Acid Shader distortion jumps back to its default state.
Acid Shaders (modified by me) - Commonly known Acid Shaders, tweaked a few things and rewrote the Worldtime usage to look like this:
newWorldTime = worldTime + (23999 * moonPhase);
Macros and Keybinds - Lots of things. The script I made sets the correct time, recursively kills NPCs and holds down the forward key, which drives the minecart thanks to Zombe's Modpack.
