The horror gaming community is probably used to disappointment now, as the cancellation of P.T. aka Silent Hills put a dagger in one of the most surprising demos of the last 10 years. Due t0 Konami’s ruthless destruction of anything related to the franchise, like removing it from the Playstation store, some of the only hopes for fans lied in the inspired pieces that came from the cancellation. And one such piece was the well anticipated Allison Road, a first person survival horror game by United Kingdom’s Lilith Ltd. And while the game went to Kickstarter, it actually got a publisher in Team 17 eventually, and things were looking good for some good old fashioned survival horror. Well sadly, much like the jocks and sexually active teens in horror movies, the game has seemingly been killed off before it got to show the world its true potential, as it was announced on twitter by the official account for Allison Road.
Hi all. Sadly Allison Road had to be cancelled. Statement to come in the next few days. Thx for all your support and very sad it came 2 this

As we learn more about the cancellation, we’ll continue to update the article and to give full context on why the promising project has been cancelled.
Quick Take
Look, I want the old survival horror type of games back. And it’s sad that these new projects can’t seem to get off the ground. While it’s unclear on exactly WHAT has caused this cancellation, not a delay, but a cancellation, but I’m assuming it’s something at the core of the project. Based on the context of the tweet, it almost sounds like the decision was forced upon the creators in question. Hopefully nothing tragic has happened, and hopefully Konami hasn’t gotten involved in any way, as it would be like them to ruin a project like this. And given the fact that this first statement has come out, it sounds like they need something official.
