Here is a video review of the Cambridge Clarion ESV in Brown Calfskin leather. It is also available in black goatskin and black calfsplit leather. I have upgraded the ribbons in my copy to tricolor: red, blue, and chocolate brown. It originally came with two brown ribbons. The Clarion may be the perfect reading Bible. It is a hand sized Bible, with a good sized print (8.75) in an exceptionally clear font. The print also utilizes excellent letter-spacing and line-spacing. Best of all, the Clarion has beautiful line-matching on almost every page (this means the text on the front and back match). This eliminates almost all problems caused by ghosting or bleed-through. This Bible is printed and bound in the Netherlands by Jongbloed, perhaps the premier Bible binder in the world. The paper is superb, although fairly thin. It is a slightly glossy coated white paper with red-under-gold art gilt edges. The art gilt gives the edges of the paper a shiny copper color. The effect against the brown calfskin, with the tri-color ribbons is beautiful. The Clarion is available in most major translations: ESV, NKJV, NASB, KJV, and NIV. This makes it a great buy, no matter what your translation preference. The three binding options are available at various pricepoints, starting at around $100 on Amazon. I highly reccomend this Bible! I have a black goatskin NKJV in addition to this one, and they are my favorite two Bibles for reading.
