Raven's Progressive Matrices (often referred to simply as Raven's Matrices) are non-verbal multiple choice measures of the reasoning (or, better, "meaning-making") component of Spearman's g, which is often referred to as general intelligence. The tests were originally developed by John C. Raven in 1936. In each test item, the subject is asked to identify the missing element that completes a pattern. Many patterns are presented in the form of a 4x4, 3x3, or 2x2 matrix, giving the test its name.
The Matrices are available in three different forms for participants of different ability:
In addition, "parallel" forms of the standard and coloured progressive matrices were published in 1998. This was to address the problem of the Raven's Matrices being too well known in the general population. Items in the parallel tests have been constructed so that average solution rates to each question are identical for the classic and parallel versions. A revised version of the SPM - the Standard Progressive Matrices Plus - was published at the same time. This was based on the "parallel" version but, although the test was the same length, it had more difficult items in order to restore the discrimination that the original SPM had among more able adolescents and young adults when it was first published. This new test, developed with the aid of better sampling arrangements and developments in the procedures available to implement Item Response Theory, has turned out to have exemplary test properties.
Tyrod Taylor (born August 3, 1989) is an American football quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He was the starting quarterback for the Virginia Tech Hokies football team from the start of the 2008 college football season until the 2011 Orange Bowl, the final game of the 2010 college football season for Virginia Tech.
At Hampton High School, Taylor led the team as quarterback, while also becoming the team's kick returner and safety. During his three years as starter, he led the team to a 34-4 record. He accumulated 7,690 yards of offense and scored 100 total touchdowns. He passed for 5,144 yards and 44 touchdowns, while rushing for 2,546 yards and 56 scores.
When Tyrod graduated from Hampton in 2007, he was rated as the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback at Rivals.com. ESPN.com rated him the No. 3 overall quarterback, while Scout.com said he's the nation's seventh-best passer. Taylor, who is 6'-1" and 200 pounds, ran a 4.55-second 40 yard dash.
Taylor narrowed his final two choices down to Virginia Tech and the University of Florida, and eventually chose to attend Virginia Tech.
It all came so suddenly
You and I know that now I am inside your heart
Your face is telling me
That we are a priceless piece of art
I couldn't see it in your eyes
You're completely pity
The man I left behind
My skin like cinnamon
Your favorite spice
Yeah baby with your milky skin
I bet it tastes nice
Chorus
I walked and stuck on through
Visions of you
(repeats)
And who we will be together
When I close my eyes
You are what I see
Instead I realize
That I am no longer free
I am .. down by the hope and the ring
Inside of me
