Gidget Gein (September 11, 1969 -- October 8, 2008), born Bradley Stewart, was an American musician and artist. He was the second bassist and co-founder of the alternative metal band Marilyn Manson. His stage name references and dichotomises serial killer Ed Gein and the fictional 1960s surfer girl Gidget.
Gein's character, style, and reputation had become the prototype for what young Brian Warner would adapt into a Marilyn Manson ideal. As they became closer friends, Bradley and Brian's personalities expressed themselves through fun ideals in Gidget Gein and Marilyn Manson. The personal stylings, influences, and experiences of each member would showcase as Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids to the south Florida music scene and eventually gain the attention of a newly successful Trent Reznor.

Gidget Gein died from a heroin overdose on October 8, 2008 at a friends home in Burbank, California. He was 39. At the time of his death, he was recording an album with record producer Dave Jerden, in a television deal with Roxane Davis for "Bag Boy" and had been contracted to publish his art.

Bradley Mark "Brad" Stewart (September 11, 1969 – October 8, 2008), known by his stage name Gidget Gein, was an American musician and artist. He was the second bassist and co-founder of the alternative metal band Marilyn Manson. His stage name references and dichotomies serial killer Ed Gein and the fictional 1960s surfer girl Gidget.
Early life
Gein was born in Hollywood, Florida, to a Roman Catholic school teacher mother and police officer father.
Career
Stewart joined the band, Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids, in 1990. The band eventually gained the attention of Trent Reznor who signed them to his label Nothing Records. As the band became more famous after dropping the "Spooky Kids" title in 1992, Gein's personality was becoming more chaotic through extensive drug use and other various acts of debauchery. In October 1993, Reznor agreed to rework the production on Marilyn Manson's album, taking them and their tapes to The Record Plant in Los Angeles. On Christmas Eve of 1993, Gein was hospitalized after overdosing on heroin. While still hospitalized, he received a message from Marilyn Manson's lawyer via FedEx that he was fired due to his drug use. Gein was replaced by Jeordie White, known as Twiggy Ramirez.

Marilyn Manson
Brian Hugh Warner (born January 5, 1969), known professionally as Marilyn Manson, is an American musician, songwriter, actor, painter, multimedia artist, and former music journalist. He is known for his controversial stage personality and image as the lead singer of the band Marilyn Manson, which he co-founded with Daisy Berkowitz and of which he remains the only constant member. His stage name was formed by juxtaposing the names of two American cultural icons, namely actress Marilyn Monroe and murderer Charles Manson.
He is best known for his band's records released in the 1990s, most notably Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals, which along with his public image earned him a reputation in the mainstream media as a controversial figure and an allegedly negative influence on young people. In the U.S. alone, three of the band's albums have been awarded platinum and three more went gold, and the band has had eight releases debut in the top ten, including two number-one albums. Manson has been ranked number 44 in the Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists by Hit Parader, and has been nominated for four Grammy Awards.

A top-notch cast of comic voices juice up the jokes in a kiddie cartoon. There isn't a pet owner who hasn't said "I wonder what Derby/Dulce/Roger do all day when I'm not home?". Well, "The Secret Life of Pets" has the answer. And it's not pretty, although it is occasional fun ... Some cats eat everything in sight ... Particularly charming is Jenny Slate, as Max's secret admirer Gidget, a furball who turns out to have more bite than bark ... ....
