The Delhi metro rail corporation is a state owned enterprise that controls the Delhi metro. The vacancies in DMRC would be posted in the official site and also in the leading newspapers. The candidates who fulfill all the criteria can register online for Common Aptitude test. The test includes general aptitude, current affair, decision making, problem solving, logical questions, general English and analytical skills in the first paper and the second paper contains essay writing, paragraph writing, comprehension and precise writing. For certain positions, the candidates who have written GATE would be shortlisted based on the GATE score and would be called in for the group discussion round. After submitting the application, the candidates have to wait for the list of candidates who have been selected for attending the Common Aptitude Test. Based on the merit score in the test, the candidates would be called in for the interview and group discussion. During the interview, the candidate would be asked to bring all the original documents and certificates. If any information provided by the candidate is found to be false during verification, the candidate would be eliminated from the selection process as unqualified no matter which stage of selection process he is in. Even if he is selected, his service would be terminated immediately. Those who are selected both in the group discussion and in the interview would be called in for the medical examination. The medical examination comprises of medical fitness test and physical examination for fitness. Those who fail in the medical tests would not be given any alternative jobs. All DMRC jobs would require the candidate to take up medical examination. The selected candidates would be posted anywhere in Jaipur, Delhi, Kochi or other project office. If mentioned, the candidates would be placed on probation and training would be provided. The placement happens after successful completion of training. Otherwise, the candidate would be terminated during the probation period.
