YDID - Down Quark - Major League Recordings YDID (Wide Eyed) is a starry eyed Canadian producer from Toronto, ON, and this is his debut Major League release. Since his introduction to audio production at the age of fourteen, he’s been honing his techniques and crafting his unique style. This multi-instrumentalist began his career performing in punk-rock bands. This quickly lead to his passion of engineering for local studios, and eventually composing original works for television and radio advertisements. His original compositions have been featured in online, television, and radio ads internationally. It was inevitable that his passion for production eventually lead him to a deep rooted love for electronica, minimal, tech, electro, garage, and deep-house in which he still gazes at in amazement to this day. He believes anything is possible with groove, rhythm, texture, feel, warmth, drive, pulse, depth, fusion, fission, density, light, space, and bass.
