USERKAF'S PYRAMID *SAQQARA XIV *Northeastern Monuments:
The pyramid complex of Userkaf is located almost exactly at the NorthEastern corner of Zoser Complex in Saqqara.
Userkaf, founder of the 5th Dynasty, chose to build his funerary complex within the closest possible vicinity to the complex of Djoser, at its northeastern corner. The layout of Userkaf's pyramid complex is also uncharacteristic, with a separate offering chapel along the eastern face of the pyramid and the funerary temple to the south of it.

Пирамида Усеркафа - имеет вид сильно разрушенного холма. Территория закрыта для посещения, но так как особо охраны по близости не наблюдалось, мне получилось подойти к храму и пирамиде без проблем.
Вход заблокирован и застроен кирпичами, рядом лежат хорошо обработанные блоки из базальта и гранита. Вокруг пирамиды заметна мостовая, которая явно указывает на один стандарт строительства и схожесть с другими мегалитическими пирамидами Египта.
Впечатлил базальтовый, нетронутый реставраторами, пол храма. Следов явной обработки не так много и видно их не так четко, как возле великих пирамид, но они есть.
Остатки разрушенной камеры пирамиды царицы тоже впечатлили, так как хорошо видна конструкция всего плана строительства с огромными блоками.
Место в общем очень интересное и явно заброшенное, не исследуется. Позже я узнал, что есть возможность как-то проникнуть внутрь пирамиды, так-что еще поездка планируется (если получится найти помощника).. сильно все напоминает о том, что специально кто-то хочет, чтобы это место забыли, не замечали...

Userkaf
Userkaf (meaning "His soul is strong") was the founder of the Fifth dynasty of Egypt and the first pharaoh to start the tradition of building sun temples at Abusir. His name means "his Ka (or soul) is powerful". He ruled from 2494-2487 BC and constructed the Pyramid of Userkaf complex at Saqqara.
Family
Userkaf may have been a grandson of Djedefre by his daughter, Neferhetepes. His father is unknown, while some believe his mother to have been Khentkaus I (or his wife before he inherited the throne).
Another of Userkaf's wives was the similarly named Queen Neferhetepes, known to be the mother of Sahure. Userkaf may also have been the father of Neferirkare Kakai, a son by Khentkaus I.
Another less common view, in concordance with a story of the Westcar Papyrus, is that the first three rulers of the fifth dynasty were brothers—the sons of a woman named Raddjedet.
Thus, Sahure, Userkaf's successor was most likely his son. Furthermore, a strong argument in support of the theory that the first four kings of the fifth dynasty were closely related is that we know several officials who served as priests in the funerary cults of several of these kings:

Вход заблокирован и застроен кирпичами, рядом лежат хорошо обработанные блоки из базальта и гранита. Вокруг пирамиды заметна мостовая, которая явно указывает на один стандарт строительства и схожесть с другими мегалитическими пирамидами Египта.
Впечатлил базальтовый, нетронутый реставраторами, пол храма. Следов явной обработки не так много и видно их не так четко, как возле великих пирамид, но они есть.
Остатки разрушенной камеры пирамиды царицы тоже впечатлили, так как хорошо видна конструкция всего плана строительства с огромными блоками.
Место в общем очень интересное и явно заброшенное, не исследуется. Позже я узнал, что есть возможность как-то проникнуть внутрь пирамиды, так-что еще поездка планируется (если получится найти помощника).. сильно все напоминает о том, что специально кто-то хочет, чтобы это место забыли, не замечали...
