Built on Site Shed Installation Service by Backyard Buildings & More
1. Place your order online or call one of our customer service representatives. After you place an order, expect to receive a call within 3 business days (Monday -- Friday) from your local shed builder office to schedule your installation.
2. The professional shed builder will call the morning of delivery to provide you an ETA of either am (8:00 -- noon) or pm (noon -- 4:00) delivery. Upon arrival, the builder will go over your work order and review the build site before beginning to unload your shed kit. All of our builders are background checked, bonded and insured. All of our sheds are built on site.
3. The shed builder will bring all needed materials to the installation site. Our buildings are not prefabricated, we build sheds right in your own backyard. Fenced yards are not a problem as long as you have a 3' gate with clear access to get to the site. Note: We require at least 3 feet of clearance around and above the building site (4 feet if your building is larger than 160 sq. ft.) This allows us the room needed for ladders and standing the walls. We will also need access to electricity within 150 feet of the unit.
4. Our standard floor construction starts with treated 4x4 runners which get leveled to the ground. Treated 2x4 floor joists are assembled on the 4x4 runners. Note: Prior to the installation, your site must be level within 6"h. (Front left, back to front). Once you determine the 4 corners of the shed, pound wood stakes into the ground , add a string and using a line level determine how much excavation is needed.
5. Next, the builder attaches the durable 5/8" thick exterior OSB decking. We also offer a 3/4" treated plywood floor option (20% thicker!), which is ideal for storing big, heavy items such as riding lawn mowers, ATV's, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and more.
6. Next, the walls are assembled and attached to the floor. Our Value Series features strong 2x3 wall framing while our Heritage, Vinyl and Garage Sized sheds feature premium 2x4 wall framing.
7. After installing roof rafters and roof decking, the shed is ready for shingles. All sheds include 25-year asphalt 3-tab shingles with your choice of 5 popular colors. Drip edge and roof felt is an available option.
8. Doors, hardware, trim and any additional accessories are attached to complete the installation.
9. Final Inspection & Approval: Before leaving the site, the shed builder will ask for your approval and answer any final questions you may have. Congratulations! Your storage dilemma has been solved. Since we build sheds on site, all that you have to do now is paint your shed to match your house.

I recently got the opportunity to build a firewood shed for someone. The shed is made up of pressure treated 2x6, 4x4, and 5/4 decking stock. The roof is made out of metal roofing. I decided to pre-build most of the shed and then assemble it on site.

We recently stumbled upon this secret, hidden, abandoned mine and mining camp high up in the mountains. We explored one mine tunnel as well as the surface structures. A shed onsite contained an old vintage Silvertone radio/record player from 1940, a winch, a newspaper from 1957, and other artifacts. Inside the mine, we found more artifacts used by the miners, and we demonstrate in the video how those artifacts were used by the miners long ago.

Built on Site Shed Installation Service by Backyard Buildings & More
1. Place your order online or call one of our customer service representatives. After you place an order, expect to receive a call within 3 business days (Monday -- Friday) from your local shed builder office to schedule your installation.
2. The professional shed builder will call the morning of delivery to provide you an ETA of either am (8:00 -- noon) or pm (noon -- 4:00) delivery. Upon arrival, the builder will go over your work order and review the build site before beginning to unload your shed kit. All of our builders are background checked, bonded and insured. All of our sheds are built on site.
3. The shed builder will bring all needed materials to the installation site. Our buildings are not prefabricated, we build sheds right in your own backyard. Fenced yards are not a problem as long as you have a 3' gate with clear access to get to the site. Note: We require at least 3 feet of clearance around and above the building site (4 feet if your building is larger than 160 sq. ft.) This allows us the room needed for ladders and standing the walls. We will also need access to electricity within 150 feet of the unit.
4. Our standard floor construction starts with treated 4x4 runners which get leveled to the ground. Treated 2x4 floor joists are assembled on the 4x4 runners. Note: Prior to the installation, your site must be level within 6"h. (Front left, back to front). Once you determine the 4 corners of the shed, pound wood stakes into the ground , add a string and using a line level determine how much excavation is needed.
5. Next, the builder attaches the durable 5/8" thick exterior OSB decking. We also offer a 3/4" treated plywood floor option (20% thicker!), which is ideal for storing big, heavy items such as riding lawn mowers, ATV's, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and more.
6. Next, the walls are assembled and attached to the floor. Our Value Series features strong 2x3 wall framing while our Heritage, Vinyl and Garage Sized sheds feature premium 2x4 wall framing.
7. After installing roof rafters and roof decking, the shed is ready for shingles. All sheds include 25-year asphalt 3-tab shingles with your choice of 5 popular colors. Drip edge and roof felt is an available option.
8. Doors, hardware, trim and any additional accessories are attached to complete the installation.
9. Final Inspection & Approval: Before leaving the site, the shed builder will ask for your approval and answer any final questions you may have. Congratulations! Your storage dilemma has been solved. Since we build sheds on site, all that you have to do now is paint your shed to match your house.

I recently got the opportunity to build a firewood shed for someone. The shed is made up of pressure treated 2x6, 4x4, and 5/4 decking stock. The roof is made out of metal roofing. I decided to pre-build most of the shed and then assemble it on site.
