This guy killed 77 people, and he still thinks that his rights are violated.
Anders Breivik, the most notorious terrorist from
Norway, threatens a hunger strike, because he has
PlayStation 2 in his cell, but it's too outdated. He wants
PlayStation 4 that hit the
Market recently.
That's what he demanded in the letter sent to the media. That's not all, actually: he also wants some new games for the console, a comfortable sofa and more fitness equipment. Well, the convicted murderer regards the conditions of his term in the high-security prison: three rooms full of different ways to spend your time in the way like you're not a murderer, but some normal person having a day off, don't satisfy his needs.
Breivik's advocate Tord Jordet said that his client is not going to start his hunger strike till the prison authorities give him an answer concerning his demands. Only after this he will probably stop eating.
In
2011 Breivik committed a double terror attack. At first he left a car full of explosive materials near the government headquarters in
Oslo. 8 people died after the car exploded.
Then he took some weapons and came to Utoya left-wing
Labor party youth camp, where he shot 69 people. Most part of them was the teenagers.
He is sentenced to 21-year in prison, but this term could -- and, as most experts agree upon, will be extended to the life sentence. At first he tried to study in absentia in the
University of Oslo, but failed exams. Some then he probably decided that some video games are better for his brain then some learning.
In fact, Breivik's complaints are so ridiculous that a lot of experts have grave doubts about his motivation. Some are sure that Breivik who has a
Narcissistic personality disorder, just tries to attract some attention.
Maybe, he is trying to cause some pain to the relatives of people he killed, because they see that he doesn't suffer and doesn't repent being in prison.
Maria Kannabikh, member of the Civic
Chamber of the
Russian Federation, the president of the Interregional
Charity Fund of assistance to prisoners:
"I visited this prison.
It's not bad, actually, it's rather new, modern.
And I was really impressed by the conditions that the inmates have in their cells.
They live in pretty easy street there. And they the menu there: the prisoners have the opportunity to order food for the day or for the week. Any food they like. The conditions inside this prison are very good, i mean it. The meals are balanced and nutritious: they eat a lot of salmon. And they have a lot of gyms there.
And as for
Brevik.... From my
point of view, when the person - if we can call him this way -- who killed so many innocent people begins to make complains about incarceration conditions and demands the improvements.... Well, it's kind of blasphemy, sacrilege... This is abnormal".
There are few chances that Breivik will ever leave the prison. But it seems that he will do his best to male everyone play the game under his rules.
What from your point of view the authorities must do to Breivik?
