The real figure of those killed in the five-year war, no one knows. activists who collect information directly from the field, state that every year were being killed tens of thousands of people, civilians or soldiers. The
Syrian Center for Political
Research, submitted a report stating that since
2011 life expectancy dropped from 70
Syrians to 55.4 years, and that even 11.
5 percent of the population were injured or killed than the beginning of the war.
Almost half of the 22 million Syrians were forcibly displaced:
Refugees in Europe, Turkey,
Lebanon,
Jordan, Iraq and

Six million people are internally displaced within the country, while more than four million others most fled to neighboring countries. In Turkey, there is 2.5 million Syrians, a large number of people living in the refugee camps in Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq.
Nearly a million refugees sought a better life in Europe, creating the largest migration crisis since
World War II.
The war in Syria - Participants: When someone supports?
Syria is torn between several wars.
Regular military government (supported by Russia) is in conflict with the rebel forces (funded by the
United States) who want to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad. Both war against the Islamic state.
Syrian Kurds fighting against the Islamic state, but also against neighboring Turkey.
Who support and backing the rebels?
Moderate rebels / opposition, as opposition forces called the
Pentagon, enjoy the support of conservative Islamic military groups Ahrah al-Sham and
Al-Nusra Front, which cooperates with Al Qaeda. Financial and logistical receive assistance from
Saudi Arabia, Turkey and
Qatar.
SAD in their training and arming invested more than half a billion dollars, but the project suffered a fiasco, after which suspended.
Kurds
Islamic countries suffer the greatest losses when the US and Russian air strikes join the Kurds and their Peshmerga forces, attacking jihadists on the ground. Kurds, which in Syria and neighboring countries has approximately 30 million, fervently yearn for their own country (
Kurdistan), and hope that when the Islamic state to be beaten, to be able to get yourself a piece of territory in Syria and Iraq, according to the DW.
Current situation
2015. The rebels took control of the north-east Syria, with the help of Al Qaida's
Al Nusra Front. This was followed by Russian intervention, which breathed new life forces of the regime of Bashar al-Assad. Most have profited already mentioned Kurds, who occupied a good part of the territory which was until recently held the Islamic state.
