Former frontman of The Kinks Ray Davies is teaming up with Star Wars actor Mark Hamill for a special talk in London.
The singer will be joined in conversation with the star on the band's classic albums ‘Everybody’s In Showbiz’ and ‘Muswell Hillbillies’ at Hornsey Town Hall on June 26. Davies will also perform a series of select songs from the two albums alongside his long-time guitarist Bill Shanley, while Hamill will read excerpts of Davies' memoir ‘Americana’.
Hamill, who has been an avid Kinks fan since the 1960s and has seen them over 18 times, will discuss The Kinks' career in the Seventies on the night.

The actor has admitted to singing 'Supersonic Rocket Ship' taken from 'Everybody's In Showbiz' in the Millennium Falcon while sat between Harrison Ford and the late Sir Alec Guiness during filming for the first Star Wars movie.
The album will be reissued as a deluxe edition on June 3 with an entire extra disc of live material from a gig at Carnegie Hall as well as a few studio outtakes. All proceeds from this one-off event will go to the homeless charity Crisis and the restoration of the Hornsey Town Hall's stage.
Tickets for the gig go on sale tomorrow (April 29) at 11am. For more information head to hthartscentre.co.uk.
With filming for the 2017 title underway in Skellig Michael, off the coast of County Kerry, Ireland, a photographer captured the crew filming a scene with Hamill.
