Alfred Humphreys (born April 3, 1953) is a Canadian actor who has appeared in movies and on television. Humphreys was born in Ontario. He relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia, where he currently resides.
Humphreys is a dramatic actor. His breakthrough role was as the Deputy Lester in First Blood (1982), which starred Sylvester Stallone as Rambo. His other memorable roles include the character Howard Landers in My Bloody Valentine (1981) and William Drake in the blockbuster film X2. He also played supporting parts in such films as Ernest Rides Again (1993), Luna: Spirit of the Whale (2007) and Air Bud: Spikes Back (2003).
Humphreys has played numerous small guest roles in television shows throughout the 1980s up to present including the role of Dr. Pomerantz on the Sci-Fi show The X Files, as well as roles on The Twilight Zone (the 1985 and 2002 revivals), Smallville, Outer Limits and Da Vinci's Inquest. In 2010, he appeared in Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
He appeared with the same role in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. He also starred in two horror films directed by William Fruet: Funeral Home and Bedroom Eyes.

When Alf joins Milly and Molly’s school, he seems different from the other children. He likes different things and is proud of his difference. Funeral Home (also known as Cries in the Night) is a 1980 Canadian horror/thriller directed by William Fruet starring Lesleh Donaldson, Kay Hawtrey, Jack Van Evera, Alf Humphreys, and Harvey Atkin. Both Donaldson and Humphreys would later become cult favorites of the horror genre for the film,[citation needed] and also Donaldson's roles in Happy Birthday to Me (1981) and Curtains (1983), and Humphreys in Death Weekend (1976) and My Bloody Valentine (1981).[vague] Fruet would later direct the 1986 slasher film Killer Party.

Twenty years ago, a tragic accident in a mine on St. Valentine's Day took the lives of five miners. The disaster occurred while supervisors left their posts to attend the town's annual Valentine's Day dance. The only survivor, Harry Warden, was confined to a mental institution after the ordeal. On the disaster's first anniversary, he returned to the town for bloody revenge. That was nineteen years ago, and memories have dimmed. Young lovers T.J. (Paul Kelman) and Sarah (Lori Hallier) and friend Axel (Neil Affleck) are among the townspeople attending another Valentine's party. First Blood (1982) John Rambo is a disoriented Vietnam Vet. He is hitchhiking from town to town to see friends from the war. A sheriff tries to make him leave town and when he refuses, arrests him for vagrancy. While in jail, a deputy takes delight in abusing him. Rambo escapes showing his old Vietnam fighting skills and takes to the woods as the sheriff and deputies try and find him in his element. Things get out of hand as Colonel Trautman, Rambo's old commander, appears to shed light on the situation.
