A Viena hay que ir con los oídos bien abiertos para no perderse una sola nota de la música de sus calles. Y no es sólo por los artistas que todos los días tocan sus instrumentos en los alrededores de la Stephanplatz y la Kärntner Strasse, sino porque cada edificio, desde la Catedral hasta la Ópera, están impregnados de la genialidad de Beethoven, Strauss, Mozart y todos los músicos que, desde siempre, han venido a inspirarse y a triunfar en la capital austríaca.

Biografia :
Viena fue una de las bandas más interesantes dentro del contexto de pop chileno de mediados de los años '80, tanto por su estilo musical (influído por el pospunk y la new-wave inglesa) como por su preocupación estética. Sus integrantes no se dejaban fotografiar sin las vistosas tenidas y maquillajes que lucían en sus shows, los cuales constituían una completa novedad en el Santiago de esa época.
Durante su breve primera etapa, el grupo logró imponer al menos un par de hits radiales ("Niña engreída", "Salón de emociones"), así como dejar forjado el camino para músicos que luego destacaron en otras agrupaciones (sobre todo, los hermanos Pedro y Archie Frugone. Viena fue el grupo del cual se escindió Anachena, y se rearmó como tal durante los años '90, aunque tan sólo con su cantante original a bordo.

/viːˈɛnə/; German: Wien (help·info) [viːn]) is the capital and largest city of Austria and one of the nine states of Austria. The city lies in the east of Austria and is close to the borders of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. These regions work together in a European Centrope border region. Along with nearby Bratislava, Vienna forms a metropolitan region with 3 million inhabitants. In 2001, the city centre was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Viena fue una de las bandas más interesantes dentro del contexto de pop chileno de mediados de los años '80, tanto por su estilo musical (influído por el pospunk y la new-wave inglesa) como por su preocupación estética. Sus integrantes no se dejaban fotografiar sin las vistosas tenidas y maquillajes que lucían en sus shows, los cuales constituían una completa novedad en el Santiago de esa época.
Durante su breve primera etapa, el grupo logró imponer al menos un par de hits radiales ("Niña engreída", "Salón de emociones"), así como dejar forjado el camino para músicos que luego destacaron en otras agrupaciones (sobre todo, los hermanos Pedro y Archie Frugone. Viena fue el grupo del cual se escindió Anachena, y se rearmó como tal durante los años '90, aunque tan sólo con su cantante original a bordo.
