the adventure-road from gangtok to nathula (indo-china border); during the month of may-june when it rains quite heavily landslides occur very frequently ; it is this time when we toured that area...our tour got delayed for two days (30th & 31st may 2012) when 500+ vehicles were stuck on road due to landslide; and what a commendable service provided by the army..from feeding the babies to taking care of the oldies... preparing of food to clearing of landslide-blocked-road...cleaning of toilets to arrangement for shelter for 5500 + people......every word will fall short of describing their service to mankind...a big salute to our Indian Army !!!......we must remember them and their families in all our prayers for their safety and well being.
