Marengo Beachbreak

Close to town in a peaceful and private garden setting, Marengo Beachbreak is an extensively landscaped rural residential property with 3 well appointed motel-style rooms and a photographic gallery, perfect for a couple wanting somewhere comfotable to stay while exploring the Great Ocean Road and the Otways.

Owner operated, our one acre property is only 2kms away from Apollo Bay Town center and 300m from the Great Ocean Road and beautiful and often deserted Marengo beach.

Quiet well behaved dogs are also very welcome here in room 3 only (No pets allowed in rooms 1& 2 and dogs by arrangement in room 3 at managements discretion and at additional cost- see details below before booking and please tell us about your dog when booking)

Single Nights

Need a single night booking? For most of the year we offer single night bookings for those touring the great Ocean Road, including some dates in January.
We also offer specials and discounted rates for 2 or more nights booked.
We currently have a 3 night minimum for booking 26/12/14-11/1/15.
All prices quoted on the website are for 2 adults only.

Units are equipped with the following.............

After your day out exploring this beautiful part of the Great Ocean Road, you can relax in heated/airconditioned comfort with views of thegarden in one of our motel-style units, well-appointed with the following:

QS bed (each unit sleeps 2 – max. 6 people on the property per night)

Fridge/toaster/microwave/cutlery/crockery/glasses and basic cooking utensils

Macrosuede furniture

LCD TV/ DVD player

Reverse cycle heater/airconditioner

Kettle with tea/coffee/sugar

Linen/bedding and towels

Decorated with photographic artwork, with a gallery onsite

Extensively landscaped native/seaside/cottage gardens, home to a large variety of native birds and occasionally koalas too.

Safe off-street parking close to your unit

Your unit is partly self-contained so while full kitchen and food ARE NOT provided, you can still prepare/cook/reheat your breakfast and other basic meals if you wish with the microwave/BBQ/toaster, or enjoy your take-away meals in comfort.

Dogs

.Apollo Bay is a great place for a holiday with your dog. Together you can enjoy the many sights and smells of the main street café’s, stunning waterfall walks and drives and of course lots of different beaches, and as Marengo Beachbreak is only 300m from a beautiful year-round off-leash dog-friendly beach they are sure to return home exhausted but happy.

Room 3 is the only dog-friendly unit with fenced courtyard and most quiet well-behaved dogs over 18 months of age are very welcome here. Due to the nature of our business though, we do have some restrictions, particularly in busy times, so guests wanting to bring a dog (or 2) must read the conditions below and then ring or email us stating the age and breed of your dog to check if we can accommodate them for the dates that you want, please do not forget to mention your dog when making a booking request.

If you do not tell us you are bringing a dog when making a booking request, we will most likely book you into a non pet friendly room.

Terms and conditions.

1. Dogs are allowed by arrangement only, and at managements discretion, in Room 3 only.

2. They must be clean, quiet and fully house trained over 18 months of age.
No drooling dogs or puppies allowed.

3.They are welcome and allowed inside but are not allowed on the bed or bedding.

4.They are not to be left alone on the property and not to be left inside the unit unsupervised. All dogs are to go with their owners when they leave the property.

5.Dogs must be clean and up to date with flea and worm treatments and vaccinations Prior to arrival.

6. Additional cost of $40.00 per dog per booking.

7. All rooms are NON-SMOKING and no other cooking appliance to be used inside.

Our rules are in place to maintain a clean, quiet and relaxed enviroment for everyone - guests and dogs not following any of the above conditions could have there booking cancelled and no refund and/or extra costs incurred.
