**Use headphones, y'all.
*I spent hours configuring the lighting in this video so that RD would cast shadows on the environment, and it seems that YouTube has ruined all of that. You bewdy.
This video took me about a month to create. Not only is it my first ever foray into the vast untamed wilderness of the SFM, it's also the first thing I've ever animated ever, in any medium ever. Ever.
All motion was keyframed in the graph editor, with minor cleaning up in the motion editor.
Despite my best efforts to make it appear natural, the animation is a bit blocky at times, I'm sure. I blame Forward Kinematics. These pony models are more or less quality items in their own right, but they could definately do with an IK rig. I tried to improvise with locks, but that only gets you so far. Also, pegasus' wings need more joints; like, one for each "feather". But whatever.
OK, dedicated description reader: now I need someone who can Hammer Editor to create a detailed, 1:1 scale map of the entirety of Equestria, so that I can make part 2.

Oh look, it's just what the internet needs: more ponies! More amateur Source Filmmaker videos! Amateur Source Filmmaker Videos about ponies! Music is from the Codemasters game 'FUEL'. Specifically, some spliced segments of "track8mixV1.wav", slowed down by about three percent. **Use headphones, y'all. *I spent hours configuring the lighting in this video so that RD would cast shadows on the environment, and it seems that YouTube has ruined all of that. You bewdy. This video took me about a month to create. Not only is it my first ever foray into the vast untamed wilderness of the SFM, it's also the first thing I've ever animated ever, in any medium ever. Ever. All motion was keyframed in the graph editor, with minor cleaning up in the motion editor. Despite my best efforts to make it appear natural, the animation is a bit blocky at times, I'm sure. I blame Forward Kinematics. These pony models are more or less quality items in their own right, but they could definately do with an IK rig. I tried to improvise with locks, but that only gets you so far. Also, pegasus' wings need more joints; like, one for each "feather". But whatever. OK, dedicated description reader: now I need someone who can Hammer Editor to create a detailed, 1:1 scale map of the entirety of Equestria, so that I can make part 2. -

Music is from the Codemasters game 'FUEL'. Specifically, some spliced segments of "track8mixV1.wav", slowed down by about three percent.
**Use headphones, y'all.
*I spent hours configuring the lighting in this video so that RD would cast shadows on the environment, and it seems that YouTube has ruined all of that. You bewdy.
This video took me about a month to create. Not only is it my first ever foray into the vast untamed wilderness of the SFM, it's also the first thing I've ever animated ever, in any medium ever. Ever.
All motion was keyframed in the graph editor, with minor cleaning up in the motion editor.
Despite my best efforts to make it appear natural, the animation is a bit blocky at times, I'm sure. I blame Forward Kinematics. These pony models are more or less quality items in their own right, but they could definately do with an IK rig. I tried to improvise with locks, but that only gets you so far. Also, pegasus' wings need more joints; like, one for each "feather". But whatever.
OK, dedicated description reader: now I need someone who can Hammer Editor to create a detailed, 1:1 scale map of the entirety of Equestria, so that I can make part 2.
