Moses (Hebrew: מֹשֶׁה, Modern Moshe Tiberian Mōšéh ISO 259-3 Moše; Greek: Mωϋσῆς Mōüsēs; Arabic: موسىٰ Mūsa) was, according to the Hebrew Bible and Qur'an, a religious leader, lawgiver and prophet, to whom the authorship of the Torah is traditionally attributed. Also called Moshe Rabbenu in Hebrew (מֹשֶׁה רַבֵּנוּ, Lit. "Moses our Teacher/Rabbi"), he is the most important prophet in Judaism, and is also considered an important prophet in Christianity and Islam, as well as a number of other faiths.
The existence of Moses as well as the veracity of the Exodus story is disputed amongst archaeologists and Egyptologists, with experts in the field of biblical criticism citing logical inconsistencies, new archaeological evidence, historical evidence, and related origin myths in Canaanite culture. Other historians maintain that the biographical details, and Egyptian background, attributed to Moses imply the existence of a historical political and religious leader who was involved in the consolidation of the Hebrew tribes in Canaan towards the end of the Bronze Age.
China (i/ˈtʃaɪnə/; Chinese: 中国; pinyin: Zhōngguó; see also Names of China), officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is the world's most-populous country, with a population of over 1.3 billion. Covering approximately 9.6 million square kilometres, the East Asian state is the world's second-largest country by land area, and the third- or fourth-largest in total area, depending on the definition of total area.
The People's Republic of China is a single-party state governed by the Communist Party of China. It exercises jurisdiction over 22 provinces, five autonomous regions, four directly controlled municipalities (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Chongqing), and two mostly self-governing special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macau). Its capital city is Beijing. The PRC also claims Taiwan—which is controlled by the Republic of China (ROC), a separate political entity—as its 23rd province, a claim controversial due to the complex political status of Taiwan and the unresolved Chinese Civil War. The PRC government denies the legitimacy of the ROC.
Près de Toi ("Next To You") is French pop singer Lorie's triple-platinum debut album. It was released on September 30, 2001. On April 29, 2002, a special limited edition of the album was released with new packaging and extra tracks. Starting from September 20, 2004, the original album was sold jointly with the singer's second album, Tendrement.
A deluxe version of "Près de toi" was released with two new bonus tracks: "By My Side", an adaptation of "Près de moi", "Ton Sourire" ("Your Smile"), and remixes of the original songs. Moreover, this version included a special booklet with lyrics and photos. The album was also out in a new version in Japan mainly because Lorie was appearing in a commercial for Évian and she had to promote the product so the album was released there with a new cover and a special French/Japanese booklet that included all the songs' lyrics in the two languages. Also, new songs were added: "Dans nos rêves" ("In Our Dreams") which was used in the Évian advertisement, "Forget Me Not", another adaptation of "Près de moi" and "My World", an adaptation of "Toute Seule". In addition, the album is also available on radio cassette.
