The Mumbai Police have seized tons of illegal drugs from a factory owned by Vicky Goswami, believed to be the husband of yesteryear Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni, in Solapur. Vicky is allegedly handling the illegal drug market of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. With this seizure, questions have been raised of Mamta's links with the international drugs syndicate. Mamta is currently living in Kenya.

Mamta Kulkarni
Mamta Kulkarni is a former Bollywood actress and model. She was part of several commercial successes such as Aashiq Awara (1993), Waqt Hamara Hai (1993), Krantiveer (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995), Baazi (1996), China Gate (1998), Beqabu (1995), and Chhupa Rustam: A Musical Thriller (2001) among others. Her performance in 'Aashiq Awara' (1993) won her the 1994 Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year. The film, which launched Saif Ali Khan, was a superhit. In the blockbuster 'Karan Arjun' (1995), directed by Rakesh Roshan, Mamta Kulkarni starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. She had a 'knack' of landing into controversies, which started with her posing topless for the cover of Indian magazine Stardust in 1993. She quit Bollywood after her appearance in the film Kabhie Tum Kabhie Hum. Indian TV show Bigg Boss approached Mamta to be a contestant in its Season 7 but Mamta refused.

Acting career
Kulkarni made her Bollywood debut with the 1992 movie Tirangaa. In 1993 she starred in Aashiq Awara, which won her a Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year. She went on to appear in many popular films such as Waqt Hamara Hai (1993), Krantiveer (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995) and Baazi (1995). She mostly played the leading actor's love interest in all these films.

The Mumbai Police have seized tons of illegal drugs from a factory owned by Vicky Goswami, believed to be the husband of yesteryear Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni, in Solapur. Vicky is allegedly handling the illegal drug market of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. With this seizure, questions have been raised of Mamta's links with the international drugs syndicate. Mamta is currently living in Kenya.

However, a report on Spotboye.com has alleged that the former actress is still in Kenya and has started a line production company with a businessman named Uroo Patel, who is reportedly a Kenyan resident of Indian origin. A source in the report stated that Mamta has changed her name and it's difficult to identify her as well. Anyways, after all these years, it's good to hear about the glam girl of the '90s.

Mamta Kulkarni is a former Bollywood actress and model. Kulkarni made her Bollywood debut with the 1992 movie Tirangaa. She was part of several commercial successes such as Aashiq Awara (1993), Waqt Hamara Hai (1993), Krantiveer (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995), Baazi (1996), China Gate (1998), Beqabu (1995), and Chhupa Rustam: A Musical Thriller (2001) among others. Her performance in 'Aashiq Awara' (1993) won her the 1994 Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year.
She quit movies after her the 2002 film Kabhie Tum Kabhie Hum. Mamta also did few movies in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Malayalam.

Baazi is a 1995 Bollywood action film directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar and starring Aamir Khan and Mamta Kulkarni. This film fabricated the base for Aamir Khan's selection as the determined police officer in the blockbuster Sarfarosh which turned out to be one of Aamir Khan's best performances as a tough man. The movie was a superhit at the boxoffice.
The story opens with a group of people travelling in a bus. The bus is stopped on its way and a bunch of hooligans board the bus and create a nuisance when a man tricks them into getting off the bus. Later the bus stops for a tea break and the hooligans arrive at the same time when suddenly a passing convoy is attacked and the assassins try to kill the man inside one of the cars. The man using his swiftness foils the attack and manages to nab and arrest one of the attackers while killing another. The rest manage to escape the scene.
This man is Inspector Amar Damjee (Aamir Khan) and the person in the car turns out to be Chief Minister Vishwasrao Chowdhury (Raza Murad) who was impressed with Amar and delegates to him the task of locating the people behind a multi-crore rupee international scandal to Amar. Amar promises to fulfill the job to the best of his ability.
It is shown that Chaubey (an assistant to the CM) was the one who committed the fraud and is trying to ensure that he is not caught and hence he had asked the assassins to attack the CM. Amar tries to break the back of crime and this starts irritating Chaubey who senses how close Amar is getting. Chaubey then frames Amar for the murder of the daughter of the Police Commissioner Mazumdar(Kulbhushan Kharbanda).
Amar, after a long fight with the head assassin Raghu, escapes prison along with several others. He then plots a scheme to go undercover as a woman to find the man behind all of this. He finds Chaubey and recognizes him as the man who killed both his parents. Eventually, Chaubey's assassins take everyone hostage in a 12 story tower in attempt to attack the CM once again, but Amar slowly but surely rids of them all. As Chaubey tries to escape the scene via a helicopter on the terrace, Amar prevents him and eventually knocks him into a satellite dish, electrocuting Chaubey to death. Amar is congratulated by the CM and the Police Commissioner.

Recently, after many years Mamta’s name was again in the headlines when it was reported that she was allegedly involved in a drug scandal.
Mamta Kulkarni’s name in the drug scandal was taken with Vicky Goswami. It was also said that Mamta and Vicky are apparently married secretly. The Bollywood actress is now entangled in the Thane drug case. Reports also state that Mamta’s name is now included in the charge sheet for the Thane drug racket.
In an interview with ABP news, Mamta Kulkarni opened up on her drug allegations. The actress also spoke about se*!
Mamta, when asked to comment on the drug racket allegations, stated, “If you take Ram’s name then Sita’s name will come too. You see Vicky, he goes out and he meets his people and I am nowhere close to him. Since I am live, I would like to tell people, I hate drugs! The most animalistic desire in a man, that makes a man do bad things – se*, if I can destroy that in myself – can drugs tantalize me? I will kill myself and if I learn that Vicky is doing it then I might kill him too.”
The former starlet also spoke about sex and her nude cover shoot saying, “It was a foolish mistake for me. I didn’t believe what I was doing; I was a kid – mere andar masoomiyat thi. Muje kisi ne Demi Moore ka classy photo dikhya tha. Even if a man stands nud* in front of me right now, it won’t make any effect on me. Mera aur Vicky ka koi physical relationship nahi hai (Vicky and I have no physical relationship), we are just on good terms with each other.”

Mamta Kulkarni who was the reigning queen of the 90s suddenly vanished from the limelight. The actress who worked with all the biggies of the industry was the most sought after star. Recently, after many years Mamta’s name was again in the headlines when it was reported that she was allegedly involved in a drug scandal.
Mamta Kulkarni’s name in the drug scandal was taken with Vicky Goswami. It was also said that Mamta and Vicky are apparently married secretly. The Bollywood actress is now entangled in the Thane drug case. Reports also state that Mamta’s name is now included in the charge sheet for the Thane drug racket.
In an interview with ABP news, Mamta Kulkarni opened up on her drug allegations. The actress also spoke about se*!
Mamta, when asked to comment on the drug racket allegations, stated, “If you take Ram’s name then Sita’s name will come too. You see Vicky, he goes out and he meets his people and I am nowhere close to him. Since I am live, I would like to tell people, I hate drugs! The most animalistic desire in a man, that makes a man do bad things – se*, if I can destroy that in myself – can drugs tantalize me? I will kill myself and if I learn that Vicky is doing it then I might kill him too.”
The former starlet also spoke about sex and her nude cover shoot saying, “It was a foolish mistake for me. I didn’t believe what I was doing; I was a kid – mere andar masoomiyat thi. Muje kisi ne Demi Moore ka classy photo dikhya tha. Even if a man stands nud* in front of me right now, it won’t make any effect on me. Mera aur Vicky ka koi physical relationship nahi hai (Vicky and I have no physical relationship), we are just on good terms with each other.”
