This is now the 5th version of the Kinvara that I have run in over the years and I am so happy to report that the shoe still maintains a top spot on my road runner list of greats. It's super balance of comfort, resilience and long-run awesomeness keeps the Kinvara as one of my go-to road kicks for long training runs and marathons.
Only real gripes are that the Pro-Lock is still a part of this shoe. Seriously, it's reminiscent of the Brooks Nav band - something that just needs to go. That and the heel counter has a terrible habit of folding in on itself and needing quite a bit of fidling to get back to nromal. Ugh.

This is the 5th version of a shoe I have loved over the years, and like any shoe that has come this far, I was worried the Kinvara 5 (http://runningshoes.com/saucony-kinvara-5-slime-orange-citron) would be significantly different than it's previous versions. I am happy to announce the shoe has retained all the great factors I have come to love and improved on some as well. While there are some nitpicky details that I don't really like, they don't necessarily influence the ride of the shoe.
This shoe continues to be light, flexible, cushioned and a fantastic choice for those of us training for a fast road marathon time. While previous versions suffered from premature wear-through, the Kinvara 5 seems to have improved it's durability and has lasted me a good 50+ miles without nearly the wear as previous versions. Really where this shoe shines is with the upper and it's comfort. For those of you who have wider feet, this will feel more narrow and tighter around the midfoot, but that can be a benefit if you are looking to be nimble and fast long distance road shoe.
As for dislikes, this shoe has some new tech I don't really like. Example, the Pro Lock band around the midfoot. It's a band that is meant to lock the shoe in around your midfoot and to keep it secure. Now first, this wasn't really a problem for me in previous versions so i'm not sure why they are including it. Second, it really doesn't make for a comfortable addition, just adding to the amount of energy it takes to lace the shoes up and determine a perfect lace-tightness in the right areas. Not only that, but combined with a super-thick butterfly tongue, the whole upper area of the shoe becomes a mess of fabric corners, laces, and bits that needs to be tucked in and secured. Quite a bit annoying.
Overall, I am stoked this shoe hasn't changed too much from previous versions - only for the better. I plan on running the San Francisco Marathon in this shoe and logging some nice long road miles in future months. Kinvara
Kinvara (Irish: Cinn Mhara, meaning "head of the sea") is a sea port village located in the south of County Galway, Ireland. The modern parish of Kinvara comprises the civil parishes of Kinvarradoorus and Killinny (Killina). Kinvara is occasionally spelled Kinvarra in English; this may be seen on some maps and road signs, although Kinvara is the most common spelling used nowadays. Kinvarra is still the official form of the name for the townland as shown on OSI maps and this form is still used on polling cards as the name of the townland while the District Electoral Division (DED) is called Kinvara.
Kinvara's area population according to the 2006 Census was 1160. The Great Famine in the 1840s and a series of emigrations that continued up until the 1960s reduced the population of the village – once a thriving port and a significant exporter of corn and seaweed – to no more than a few hundred people. From around the 1980s the population of the parish of Kinvara started to increase while the village started to grow in size.

Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created by showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. This is my first ever battle video for Game of Thrones. Might be a few kinks here that I've worked out going forward, like shitty volume. Shitty volume is my herpes people. Just when I think it's cleared up, BOOM, another outbreak. :( But I try like hell to keep my audio loud and consistent.

This is now the 5th version of the Kinvara that I have run in over the years and I am so happy to report that the shoe still maintains a top spot on my road runner list of greats. It's super balance of comfort, resilience and long-run awesomeness keeps the Kinvara as one of my go-to road kicks for long training runs and marathons.
Only real gripes are that the Pro-Lock is still a part of this shoe. Seriously, it's reminiscent of the Brooks Nav band - something that just needs to go. That and the heel counter has a terrible habit of folding in on itself and needing quite a bit of fidling to get back to nromal. Ugh.

This is the 5th version of a shoe I have loved over the years, and like any shoe that has come this far, I was worried the Kinvara 5 (http://runningshoes.com/saucony-kinvara-5-slime-orange-citron) would be significantly different than it's previous versions. I am happy to announce the shoe has retained all the great factors I have come to love and improved on some as well. While there are some nitpicky details that I don't really like, they don't necessarily influence the ride of the shoe.
This shoe continues to be light, flexible, cushioned and a fantastic choice for those of us training for a fast road marathon time. While previous versions suffered from premature wear-through, the Kinvara 5 seems to have improved it's durability and has lasted me a good 50+ miles without nearly the wear as previous versions. Really where this shoe shines is with the upper and it's comfort. For those of you who have wider feet, this will feel more narrow and tighter around the midfoot, but that can be a benefit if you are looking to be nimble and fast long distance road shoe.
As for dislikes, this shoe has some new tech I don't really like. Example, the Pro Lock band around the midfoot. It's a band that is meant to lock the shoe in around your midfoot and to keep it secure. Now first, this wasn't really a problem for me in previous versions so i'm not sure why they are including it. Second, it really doesn't make for a comfortable addition, just adding to the amount of energy it takes to lace the shoes up and determine a perfect lace-tightness in the right areas. Not only that, but combined with a super-thick butterfly tongue, the whole upper area of the shoe becomes a mess of fabric corners, laces, and bits that needs to be tucked in and secured. Quite a bit annoying.
Overall, I am stoked this shoe hasn't changed too much from previous versions - only for the better. I plan on running the San Francisco Marathon in this shoe and logging some nice long road miles in future months. Ballycleary, South County Galway property with hidden famine road for sale just north of Kinvara
Hi, my brother has owned this property since the late eighties and for personal medical reasons he has to sell it. Ballycleary is a townland 1.5 miles north of Kinvara in South County Galway within inner Galway Bay and 28 Miles from Galway city.. The property is very secluded and consists of 33 acres. It is a magical place, ancient and untouched by modern farming practices.....it is as it was.......There is a hidden famine road, a megalithic well and a 1/4 mile of coast line. The property previously had planning permission for a house, however, this has since lapsed. I'd really appreciate if you can share this around so that the right person see's it. Thanks!! Arriving at the Cliffs of Moher you benefit from having a premium admittance ticket to the Atlantic Edge an exciting interpretive centre and a new Visitor Experience.
