Welcome to another python 3 basics video, in this video we're going to now discuss the concept of global and local variables.
When users begin using functions, they can quickly become confused when it comes to global and local variables... getting a the dreaded variable is not defined even when they clearly see that it is... or so they think.
These terms of global and local correspond to a variable's reach within a script or program. A global variable is one that can be accessed anywhere. A local variable is the opposite, it can only be accessed within its frame. The difference is that global variables can be accessed locally, but not modified locally inherently.
A local variable cannot be accessed globally, inherently. Now, dont worry about committing that to memory right now, I think it makes a lot more sense when you just see and do it, so let's do that.

In this video we create a local bitcoin testnet within a docker container. Then we'll connect to our testnet from Bitcoin-Qt on our desktop (host) machine.

This video is part rant mixed with part technical tips as it pertains to free local over the air television transmissions.
These little antennas are very nice to have around for the average consumer or the over the top prepper. A dozen of these would fit nice in a zip lock and stored away and can be directly connected to any modern large or small television which has a built in digital tuner to pick up local television broadcast.
You can greatly extend the range by installing the antenna outside as high up as possible. A 25-50 feet run of common RG-6 coaxial cable can be used to feed the signal back to your television.
Directly install the antenna to the "Input" of any 2,4,or 8 way splitter to distribute the signal to more than one television using the splitters "Output" connections.

Local programming
The terms local programme, local programming, local content or local television refers to a television program made by a television station or independent television producer for broadcast only within the station's transmission area or television market. Local programmes can encompass the whole range of programme genres but will usually only cover subjects or people of particular interest to an audience within the station’s coverage area.
For example, a local sports programme will present results, interviews and coverage of games or matches, just like a network sports programme, but it would only feature teams and players from within the broadcaster's transmission area.
In some cases a television network programme may include a local element as well. This is particularly the case in the United Kingdom and still happens today with The Politics Show. The BBC regions will all opt-out at the same time from the main programme to present a locally produced segment.
Sometimes locally made programmes that are not too specific to the transmission area, will be sold to other local stations for broadcast in their region.

In this tutorial we look at sending local push notifications. We will make it appear as a banner on the home screen, and appear on the lock screen, as well as in notification centre. We will additionally be looking at changing the alert sound, app icon badge, notification text, and notification action. Finally, the app will allow us to set a date, or time period after our application is closed, to send a push notification to the user.

This video is part rant mixed with part technical tips as it pertains to free local over the air television transmissions.
These little antennas are very nice to have around for the average consumer or the over the top prepper. A dozen of these would fit nice in a zip lock and stored away and can be directly connected to any modern large or small television which has a built in digital tuner to pick up local television broadcast.
You can greatly extend the range by installing the antenna outside as high up as possible. A 25-50 feet run of common RG-6 coaxial cable can be used to feed the signal back to your television.
Directly install the antenna to the "Input" of any 2,4,or 8 way splitter to distribute the signal to more than one television using the splitters "Output" connections.
