The Buzz: Whether you're a lifelong TMNT devotee or not, perhaps you, like us, are rooting for the sequel to be better than the 2014 reboot, which trafficked in a welcome sense of realism as well as impressive action sequences, though it was weighed down with a surprising amount of talky exposition. If a second sequel is unavoidable, please keep the cast weird by signing up unexpected duos like Tyler Perry and Laura Linney.
Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016)- Comedy | Music
When it becomes clear that his solo album is a failure, a former boy band member does everything in his power to maintain his celebrity status.

The Buzz: Admit it: At some point in the last few years, you probably delighted in the very public stumbles of a young (ahem, unnamed) pop singer lacking both self-awareness and restraint. Which is why this movie, written and directed by the Lonely Island gents and produced by Judd Apatow, is sure to please, especially with a lead character (Andy Samberg) whose shortcomings seem so familiar and reliably laughable, and a cast teeming with comedy and music favorites. Is it too early to say I'm not sorry about this movie? - Bret
Me Before You (2016)- Drama
A girl in a small town forms an unlikely bond with a recently-paralyzed man she's taking care of.

The Buzz: In my opinion, Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin are perfectly cast to bring Jojo Moyes' novel to life. Honestly, every time I watch the trailer (it's like 15 times now), I get teary-eyed. But who doesn't want to see Khaleesi and Finnick Odair fall in love?! #fanfictioncrossover Amiright? Bring tissues ... and some wine. - Akimi
The Fits (2015) - [Limited]- Drama

Director:Anna Rose Holmer |

The Buzz: By all indications of the reviews we've read, it seems like writer/director Anna Rose Holmer and star Royalty Hightower (name of the year) might want to seek out another project at some point in their respective futures; together, they seem to have create a character study/mood piece that is completely their own unique collaboration. For Holmer, who is also a producer and cinematographer, her directorial debut is poised to take a confident step off the festival platform and into general release.
The Witness (2015) - [Limited]- Documentary | Biography | Crime | Mystery
The name 'Kitty Genovese' became synonymous with apathy after news that she was stabbed to death while 38 witnesses did nothing. Fifty years later, her brother uncovers a lie that transformed his life, condemned a city and defined an era.
Director:James D. Solomon |

The Buzz: In 1964, the New York Times reported the murder of Kitty Genovese on the streets of New York. The official account included the disturbing detail that there were 38 bystanders to the crime and that none of them did anything. More than 50 years later, William Genovese, Kitty's brother, seeks to uncover the truth of what really happened that night, in an attempt not only to shake the ghosts of what has continued to be an unsettled personal history but also to understand the motivations and intentions of the 38 witnesses who after the passage of many years have been written off as uncaring observers. This crime documentary looks to be more than just a whodunnit, exploring questions about news reporting, civic responsibility, personal forgiveness, and grief. - Bret

Documentary filmmaker Charles Ferguson turns his lens to address worldwide climate change challenges and solutions.
Director:Charles Ferguson |

Oscar Isaac narrates.
The Wailing (2016) - [Limited]- Mystery | Thriller

The Buzz: South Korean writer/director Na Hong-jin continues to show that he's one of the most promising filmmakers with this maximalist horror movie, his third feature (The Chaser put him on the map and The Yellow Dog continued his momentum). Sample some of the rave reviews for The Wailing here.
