Realized too late that the video capture quality was meh, but I hope you enjoy the LP anyway! :]
STORY
[I know the story goes by really fast in the video--too much story, too little time].
The kingdom of
Miracle World, ruled by
Queen Urara, exists in
peace by the power of the sacred Miracle Gem. That peace falls to discord when the kingdom is invaded by the Scrap
Empire, a wicked civilization of machines. The leader of the empire sends his machines to lay waste to Miracle World, abducts Queen Urara, and uses its power to turn all of the kingdom's humans into animals. The only human in the kingdom able to resist this power (by work of the Miracle Gem) is
Grey O'Brien, leader of the kingdom's army as well as the
Queen's beloved; he is only partially transformed, becoming half-beast and half-man. Before her abduction, Queen Urara gives one final command to O'Brien: to seek out her younger sisters and protect the Miracle Gem.
Together, O'Brien with
Princesses Kurara and Kirara have the sole responsibility of Miracle World's survival squarely on their shoulders.
Recording this was pretty fun! Lucas and I played the game at daycare long ago and having been searching online to find it again for quite some time. It was a blast to rediscover the game's mechanics and then
Let's Play it. We play on what we call "
Baby Mode," because it /has/ been about twelve years since we played it--and that was on an arcade system--and not having to stress so much over health and lives helped us just chill and enjoy the ride.
My biggest regret in this LP is not knowing Japanese and thus not being able to translate the dialogue; if you know Japanese and would like to give us input, we would be infinitely grateful and credit you in the videos for your contribution and support
. In the mean time, I will try to translate them what I can and add the dialogue here in the description, but I'm sure my translation will be very flawed until I can consult with someone who knows Japanese.
Thank-you all so much for your support! I appreciate it with all my heart!
