10 Brutal sucker punch attacks that left the victims injured or worse. The sucker punch, aka the coward punch, aka the King Hit. Each year, across the globe, thousands of people are severely injured or die from sucker punches. And each year thousands of assailants piss away the best years of their life in jail. In both cases, the families of these people are left emotionally devastated. So if ever you get the urge to sucker punch a person from behind, give it a second thought and remember your actions can destroy lives – including your own. Three Orders of Sucker Punch Kevin Doti of Terra Haute Indiana decided to give up his 9 to 5 job and apply to become a professional d-bag when he sucker punched bar patrons in the back of the head. Although the punches look weak, the lady in the middle suffered a concussion and partial loss of hearing. Sore Loser Sucker Punch This Croatian boxer didn't take losing very well and decided to sucker punch a defenceless referee. Although I feel horrible for the knocked out referee, I can't help but laugh at the victorious boxer who flees the ring when all hell breaks loose. His girlfriend gave him a puppy. A couple months later she broke up with him (gee I wonder why). He decided to get his “revenge” on her by savagely beating the puppy. He was arrested and sent to a mental institution for assessment. Fortunately the abused dog was removed from his care. Last I heard he was being charged with animal cruelty and could face up to 3 years in jail if convicted. Never Sucker Punch a Boxer's Wife I had to put this video on the list because this sucker punch story has a happy ending. Two tough guys decide to give a woman a smack in the face as she walks by. Fortunately for her, she's with a guy who boxes and he whoops both the men before strolling off into the sunset and living happily ever after. LOL. Bus Driver Knocked Out Behind the Wheel This cowardly sucker punching turd enrages me. His name is Michael Cubie. Not only did he severely injure the Kansas City bus driver but he also put the other passengers in harms way. After the driver regain his senses, he tried to resume his route and drove into some barricades. Apparently this attack was all over the teens boarding the bus without paying their fare. Old Lady Knocked Out at Store Unfortunately I don't know too much about this cowardly punch in a Russian store which sent a knocked out lady to the hospital. Supposedly the jerk hit the elderly lady because he felt she was standing too close to him. Elderly Lady Robbed & Punched in Church A 76 year old Omaha woman in church had her purse stolen and then sucker punched in the head before the two cowardly men fled. The woman was hospitalized with a gash to the forehead. This video begs for an answer to the question, “What would Jesus do?” He'd kick their butts and nail them to a cross. Last I heard, they captured the suspects - Wayman Clark and Larry Legget and they are awaiting trial. If found guilty, they could get a maximum sentence of 50 years each. Coward Punch by a Cowardly Man This sucker punch by former Aussie investment banker James Longworth may not look nasty but it put security guard, Fady Taiba, in a coma for 19 days. After coming out of the coma, Fady had to relearn how to eat, talk, and walk. He still a lot of medical issues, including seizures, and has to take 140 pills a week. This whole incident happened because the cowardly Longworth was denied entry into the nightclub. Senior Citizen Blind sided and Beaten For years 86 year old Tuan Nguyen had been going on his morning stroll when out of nowhere a transient man (29 year old Demarrea Barnes) swooped in and attacked. The vicious assault left Tuan with multiple minor fractures - including one on his chin, a broken eye socket, and bleeding on the brain. Demarrea was eventually arrested in Anaheim. Autistic Man Killed by Sucker Punch This is a perfect example of how devastating a coward punch can be. Autistic man, Andrew Young was out for the day when he noticed someone riding their bike on the sidewalk. He told the young man it was illegal to ride on the sidewalk. They exchanged a few words and everything looked settled until Lewis Gill sucker punched Andrew. The devastating blow knocked out Andrew and sent him helplessly falling to the ground. The impact of the fall caused brain trauma and Andrew died shortly thereafter. For the unnecessary and cowardly attack, Gill (who already had a lengthy criminal record) received a slap on the wrist sentence of 4 years, plus time served. Which means Gill will have an entire lifetime to live as a free man while Andrew is dead and his family gets a lifetime of pain and sorrow.
