Buffy the Vampire Slayer is an American franchise which spans several media and genres. It began in 1992 with the film Buffy the Vampire Slayer, written by Joss Whedon and directed by Fran Rubel Kuzui, and was resurrected as the television series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1997. The show's popularity caused it to spawn a multitude of Expanded Universe tie-in material such as comic books, novels, and video games, as well as a spin-off program entitled Angel. In 2007, four years after the television series' seventh and final season, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was officially continued in the comic book Season Eight. The following is a list of minor recurring characters who appear in the franchise.
(a.k.a. Saga Vasuki)
Amanda is a Potential Slayer who appears in Season Seven, played by Sarah Hagan. A Sunnydale High student and member of the swing choir, she first appears in the episode "Help" as part of the seemingly-random stream of students showing up at Buffy's guidance office. Amanda was sent to Buffy for beating up another student who was picking on her. In the later episode "Potential", it is revealed that Amanda is in fact a Potential Slayer, and she aptly slays a vampire who threatens her and Dawn. Afterwards, Amanda moves into the Summers' residence, where she trains and becomes friends with her fellow Potentials. In the final episode of the show, "Chosen", Amanda is activated as a Slayer along with the other Potentials and battles against an army of Turok-Han vampires. She is last seen falling to the ground dead after her neck was snapped by a Turok-Han. She was the first Potential to kill a vampire and the first one to kill a Turok-Han.
Sweet is the fourth studio album released by American country music artist Ken Mellons. Released in 2004, it contains the song "Paint Me a Birmingham", which was also recorded by Tracy Lawrence and released as a single. Mellons's rendition was also released shortly before Lawrence's. "Smack Dab" was previously recorded by George Jones on his 1998 album It Don't Get Any Better Than This.
The Inland Type Foundry was an American type foundry established in 1894 in Saint Louis, Missouri and later with branch offices in Chicago and New York City. Although it was founded to compete directly with the "type trust" (American Type Founders), and was consistently profitable, it was eventually sold to A.T.F,.
Inland was founded by the three sons of Carl Schraubstadter, one of the owners of the Central Type Foundry which had shut down upon being sold to A.T.F. in 1892. William A. Schraubstadter had been superintendent of the old foundry and, not being offered a similar position in the consolidation, founded Inland with his two brothers, Oswald and Carl Jr. At first the foundry sold type made by the Keystone Type Foundry and the Great Western Type Foundry, but soon enough was cutting and casting faces of their own. All three brothers were familiar with the foundry business and quite soon the firm began making type that was "state of the art," being point-set and having a common base-line for all faces of the same body size. This last feature was a recent innovation and, as Inland had no back stock of non-linging faces, they advertised this heavily as "Standard Line Type."
Becker is an American sitcom that ran from 1998 to 2004 on CBS. Set in the New York City borough of The Bronx, the show starred Ted Danson as John Becker, a misanthropic doctor who operates a small practice and is constantly annoyed by his patients, co-workers, friends, and practically everything and everybody else in his world. Despite everything, his patients and friends are loyal because Becker genuinely cares about them. The series was produced by Paramount Network Television.
The show revolved around Becker and the things that annoyed him, although the supporting cast also had their moments. The relationships between Becker and Reggie (later, Chris) formed the key plots of many episodes. The show tackled more serious issues as well, such as race, homosexuality, Cerebral AVM, and political correctness.
Between the fourth and fifth seasons, Farrell was fired. She has stated that it came as a complete shock to her and that she is unsure of exactly why it happened, although she denied that it was related to her participation with other cast members in a contract dispute before the fourth season began. Travis was hired just before Farrell's dismissal, and became a regular after the dismissal. Creator David Hackel stated that Farrell was fired only to give the show's writers new ideas after four years, calling the cast change "one of the toughest decisions of my career." Farrell praised Hackel after her firing, stating that he "really let you feel you had permission to fail if you tried things", and stated that the producers did not wish Becker and Reggie to have a Sam and Diane-like romance.
Pleasure is the fifth album by Marion Meadows, released in 1998.

Our solar system is a tiny but wonderfully familiar corner of the vast, dark universe – we have even been able to land spacecraft on our celestial neighbours. Yet its outer reaches are still remarkably unmapped. Now we have discovered 840 small worlds in the distant and hard-to-explore region beyond Neptune. This is the largest set of discoveries ever made, increasing the number of distant objects with well known paths around the sun by 50%. These little icy worlds are important as they help us tell the solar system’s history. They can also help us test the idea that there’s a yet unseen planet lurking in the outer solar system. I'm physically, dramatically, undeniably
Attracted to you, did you hear?
So profoundly, thoroughly visibly
Attracted to you, did you hear?
The way you hold your keys, your coffee cup
Even the tempo of your walk
The way your tattoos lay upon your skin
Even the tempo of your thought
Sweet pleasure
Sweet pleasure
Bring it on, bring it on, on, on, on, on
Sweet pleasure
Let me lose myself in your embrace
Sweet pleasure
Bring it on, bring it on, bring it home
You satisfy, gratify
Turn all my, world downside up
You're so colorful, natural
Keep giving me a bellyful of your love
The way you feed, glide, breeze across me
In the softness of your stare
To clarify, you make my
Senses naked, my soul bare
Sweet pleasure
Sweet pleasure
Bring it on, bring it on, on, on, on, on
Sweet pleasure
How i feel for you i can't explain
Sweet pleasure
Bring it on, bring it on, bring it home
Bring it on, bring it on, (bring it on) on, on, on, on
Bring it on, bring it on, (bring it on) on, on, on, on
I'm captured by your whisper
Into a mind field of love
Into danger
Into us
Sweet pleasure
Sweet pleasure
Bring it on, bring it on, on, on, on, on
Sweet pleasure
How i feel for you i can't explain
Sweet pleasure
Bring it on, bring it on, bring it on
Sweet pleasure
Sweet pleasure
Bring it on, bring it on, on, on, on, on
Sweet pleasure
Gotta feel, gotta feel your warm embrace
Sweet pleasure
Bring it on, bring it on, bring it home
