At last the definitive Line6 HELIX review that shows inside and out and of course much more, including I/O, controls, programming, the chips, useful other info throughout and audio at the end. This is the longest review I have ever done and this pedal deserves it! If you think you know Line6 well think again. The HELIX sets new standards by a very long way compared to older Line6 gear. Maybe Yamaha have had something to do with this as they now hold the reins of Line6 but in any case the Helix rocks. You will find specific sections throughout this video covering near enough everything and if you just unboxed one then this video will probably help you. I discuss the amps and cabs, effects, the blocks and how to assign them and so much more so I recommend you watch the whole video because its THAT full of info on this great new processor pedal. This pedal is not really a comparison against say a Kemper - that uses different technology, but you might compare it with an Axe-FX II as there seem many similarities. It is likely that the Axe may have more sounds etc. in it today, but watch Yamaha change that maybe. Overall this is a delightful pedal that is extremely well made, has 'dual processors' and a host of other chips that set the HELIX to probably be one of the lowest cost and dynamic 'block' based processors on the market today.
