Open Book

Open Book is the third solo album from Christian hip hop artist Da’ T.R.U.T.H., released on July 10, 2007. It debuted 2 in the Billboard/Soundscan Gospel Chart, 1 on the Soundscan Christian Hip Hop Chart and ranked in the Top-8 on the iTunes Christian & Gospel Album Chart. At the same time, the album's current single "Who Am I?" featuring Tye Tribbett debuted #9 on HipHopRnBSoul.com's Top 10 Hip-Hop Songs, as the only Gospel song on the chart, sandwiched between Kanye West's "Can't Tell Me Nothin'" and 50 Cent's "Amusement Park." More recently, while the song has received a Stellar Award nomination for "Urban/Inspirational Single or Performance of the Year" and "Music Video of the Year", it has also been nominated for a 2008 GMA Award in the category of "Rap/Hip-Hop Recorded Song". The album has received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album. The album also earned a Stellar Award in the "Rap/Hip hop Gospel CD of the year" category.

Music videos

A music video for the song "Who Am I?" featuring Tye Tribbett emerged from the project early in 2007. It can be found on YouTube, GodTube, or Rapzilla.com. A music video is also said to be in the works for the song "That Great Day".

Mikey McCleary

Michael McCleary, better known as Mikey McCleary is a New Zealand songwriter, composer, performer, producer and director living in Mumbai, India since 2007. He has worked on a large number of advertisements such as for brands like Levi's, Coca-Cola, Vodafone etc. and films such as Margarita with a straw, Shaitan, Shanghai, David, Bombay Velvet, Nautanki Saala, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Shaandaar etc.

Besides his prolific work on soundtracks for ad-films, background scores and songs for Bollywood films, he is also well known for his re-interpretations of old Bollywood songs under the stage name of The Bartender, most notably Khoya Khoya Chand and Hawa Hawai from Shaitan, Neend Na Mujhko Aaye and Eena Meena Deeka from Shaandaar, Fifi from Bombay Velvet, O Lal Meri / Mast Kalandar from David and Dhak Dhak from Nautanki Saala. He has also released a one-of-its-kind album of full-length versions of some of his most popular advertisement jingles called TV Dinners.

Personal life

McCleary is a New Zealander who was born in Chennai, India. He lived and worked in London, England for nearly fifteen years and is currently based primarily in Mumbai, India. He studied Composition and Orchestration at the Wellington Conservatorium of Music and at Victoria University of Wellington, then worked as a music producer in London at the Trident Studios among other places. He is married to writer and actor Diksha Basu.

Should I Stay or Should I Go

"Should I Stay or Should I Go" is a song by the English punk rock band the Clash, from their album Combat Rock. It was written in 1981 and featured Mick Jones on lead vocals. It became the band's only number-one single on the UK Singles Chart, a decade after it was originally released. In November 2004, it was ranked at 228 on Rolling Stone "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list. In 2009 it was ranked 42nd on VH1's program 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs.

Many rumours have arisen about the song's content, such as Jones' impending dismissal from the Clash or the rocky personal relationship between Jones and singer Ellen Foley, but Jones himself says:

Releases

The single was reissued several times. It was first reissued in 1982, with a different cover as a double A-side with "Straight to Hell" and with "Cool Confusion" as its B-side. It was reissued again in 1983, with "First Night Back in London" on the side two, and then for a third time in 1991, with "Rush" by Mick Jones' group Big Audio Dynamite II as a double A-side, with a remix of "Rush" as its B-side (see the table below).
