Freak Out!
Freak Out! is the debut album by American band The Mothers of Invention, released June 27, 1966 on Verve Records. Often cited as one of rock music's first concept albums, the album is a satirical expression of frontman Frank Zappa's perception of American pop culture. It was also one of the earliest double albums in rock music (although Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde preceded it by a week), and the first 2-record debut. In the UK the album was originally released as a single disc.
The album was produced by Tom Wilson, who signed The Mothers, formerly a bar band called the Soul Giants. Zappa said many years later that Wilson signed the group to a record deal in the belief that they were a white blues band. The album features Zappa on vocals and guitar, along with lead vocalist/tambourine player Ray Collins, bass player/vocalist Roy Estrada, drummer/vocalist Jimmy Carl Black and guitar player Elliot Ingber, who would later join Captain Beefheart's Magic Band under the name Winged Eel Fingerling.
Freak Out! (Teenage Bottlerocket album)
Freak Out! is the fifth album by Teenage Bottlerocket. It was released on July 3, 2012 on Fat Wreck Chords. The band began work on the album in February 2012 at The Blasting Room with engineer Andrew Berlin, who also co-produced the album with the band, and finished in April.
Two of the songs, "Mutilate Me" and "Punk House of Horror", were previously released on the 2011 "'Mutilate Me" EP. Another song, "Headbanger", was previously recorded by Sack, a band which featured TBR members Kody Templeman, Ray Carlisle and Brandon Carlisle. The band shot a music video for "Headbanger".

Plot synopsis
When die-hard horror movie fan Merv Doody (James Heathcote) finds a dangerous escaped mental patient at his doorstep, he has a panic attack but regains his cool when he realizes the potential in the hapless killer. Merv invites best pal Onkey (Dan Palmer) over and the two soon set about executing a makeover on the maniac to create the ultimate slasher movie villain. Outfitted with a snazzy orange jumpsuit, an appropriately menacing hockey mask, and armed with a spatula, Merv and Onkey's murderous creation soon sets out on a violent rampage that sends the small-town citizens of Redwater Cove running for their lives. Upon realizing that they are the only ones who can put an end to the bloody killing spree, the longtime horror fans prepare to put their vast knowledge of slasher disposal to the ultimate test.
