Robotics & Napoli, challenges for complexity, opportunities for creativity, and I have always felt privileged to cultivate my passions here.
Professor Bruno Siciliano is Director of the Interdepartmental Center for Advances in Robotic Surgery (ICAROS), as well as he is responsible of the Laboratory of Projects of Robotics for Industry, Services and Mechatronics (PRISMA Lab), both at University of Naples Federico II. Fellow of the scientific societies IEEE, ASME, IFAC, he was President of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society from 2008 to 2009. His book “Robotics” is among the most adopted academic texts worldwide, while his edited volume “Springer Handbook of Robotics” received the highest recognition for scientific publishing: 2008 PROSE Award for Excellence in Physical Sciences & Mathematics.

Inner Peace Camp - Un'esperienza unica che unisce il divertimento e la natura alla scoperta di Sé. Un percorso di 7 giorni pieno di Energia e Gioia per far crescere nei ragazzi la consapevolezza del legame sottile che li unisce agli altri e alla natura.
Inner Peace Camp : giochi, avventura, meditazione, passeggiate, sport, laboratori, e tanto altro, una palestra di educazione all’aperto, immersi nella natura, in un parco incontaminato di 15 ettari.

I ragazzi vivono l'esperienza di Inner Peace Class, i quattro incontri di meditazione, con grande attenzione ed entusiasmo. Sono curiosi e felici di conoscere questa loro meravigliosa bellezza interiore. La scoperta della loro energia e lo stupore delle "mani che parlano". Orgogliosi di sapere che sono i "maestri di se stessi" e che potranno ritrovare la pace interiore ogni volta che ne avranno il desiderio.
Sono sempre molto dispiaciuti alla fine del quarto incontro ed hanno il desiderio di proseguire l'esperienza.
Stiamo cercando di organizzare corsi per dare continuità, magari in zone limitrofe alle scuole e stiamo promuovendo con grande entusiasmo da parte dei bambini e degli insegnanti Inner Peace Camp.
Se quattro incontri una volta alla settimana hanno prodotto questi risultati, pensate ad un totale di 100 bambini che avranno la possibilità di vivere un'intera settimana, 20 bambini per ogni settimana, l'esperienza quotidiana della meditazione immersi nella stupenda natura del Parco di Mongiardino (Alessandria).
Dalla scuola alla natura, dall’Inner Peace Class all’Inner Peace Camp. I bambini potranno continuare il viaggio alla scoperta del Sé e del legame sottile che li unisce agli altri e a Madre Terra.

The radio show Calling All Cars hired LAPD radio dispacher Jesse Rosenquist to be the voice of the dispatcher. Rosenquist was already famous because home radios could tune into early police radio frequencies. As the first police radio dispatcher presented to the public ear, his was the voice that actors went to when called upon for a radio dispatcher role.
The iconic television series Dragnet, with LAPD Detective Joe Friday as the primary character, was the first major media representation of the department. Real LAPD operations inspired Jack Webb to create the series and close cooperation with department officers let him make it as realistic as possible, including authentic police equipment and sound recording on-site at the police station.
Due to Dragnet's popularity, LAPD Chief Parker "became, after J. Edgar Hoover, the most well known and respected law enforcement official in the nation". In the 1960s, when the LAPD under Chief Thomas Reddin expanded its community relations division and began efforts to reach out to the African-American community, Dragnet followed suit with more emphasis on internal affairs and community policing than solving crimes, the show's previous mainstay.
Several prominent representations of the LAPD and its officers in television and film include Adam-12, Blue Streak, Blue Thunder, Boomtown, The Closer, Colors, Crash, Columbo, Dark Blue, Die Hard, End of Watch, Heat, Hollywood Homicide, Hunter, Internal Affairs, Jackie Brown, L.A. Confidential, Lakeview Terrace, Law & Order: Los Angeles, Life, Numb3rs, The Shield, Southland, Speed, Street Kings, SWAT, Training Day and the Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour and Terminator film series. The LAPD is also featured in the video games Midnight Club II, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, L.A. Noire and Call of Juarez: The Cartel.
The LAPD has also been the subject of numerous novels. Elizabeth Linington used the department as her backdrop in three different series written under three different names, perhaps the most popular being those novel featuring Det. Lt. Luis Mendoza, who was introduced in the Edgar-nominated Case Pending. Joseph Wambaugh, the son of a Pittsburgh policeman, spent fourteen years in the department, using his background to write novels with authentic fictional depictions of life in the LAPD. Wambaugh also created the Emmy-winning TV anthology series Police Story. Wambaugh was also a major influence on James Ellroy, who wrote several novels about the Department set during the 1940s and 1950s, the most famous of which are probably The Black Dahlia, fictionalizing the LAPD's most famous "cold case", and L.A. Confidential, which was made into a film of the same name. Both the novel and the film chronicled mass-murder and corruption inside and outside the force during the Parker era. Critic Roger Ebert indicates that the film's characters (from the 1950s) "represent the choices ahead for the LAPD": assisting Hollywood limelight, aggressive policing with relaxed ethics, and a "straight arrow" approach.

Premiering on August 31, 1941, The Great Gildersleeve moved the title character from the McGees' Wistful Vista to Summerfield, where Gildersleeve now oversaw his late brother-in-law's estate and took on the rearing of his orphaned niece and nephew, Marjorie (originally played by Lurene Tuttle and followed by Louise Erickson and Mary Lee Robb) and Leroy Forester (Walter Tetley). The household also included a cook named Birdie. Curiously, while Gildersleeve had occasionally spoken of his (never-present) wife in some Fibber episodes, in his own series the character was a confirmed bachelor.
In a striking forerunner to such later television hits as Bachelor Father and Family Affair, both of which are centered on well-to-do uncles taking in their deceased siblings' children, Gildersleeve was a bachelor raising two children while, at first, administering a girdle manufacturing company ("If you want a better corset, of course, it's a Gildersleeve") and then for the bulk of the show's run, serving as Summerfield's water commissioner, between time with the ladies and nights with the boys. The Great Gildersleeve may have been the first broadcast show to be centered on a single parent balancing child-rearing, work, and a social life, done with taste and genuine wit, often at the expense of Gildersleeve's now slightly understated pomposity.
Many of the original episodes were co-written by John Whedon, father of Tom Whedon (who wrote The Golden Girls), and grandfather of Deadwood scripter Zack Whedon and Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog).
The key to the show was Peary, whose booming voice and facility with moans, groans, laughs, shudders and inflection was as close to body language and facial suggestion as a voice could get. Peary was so effective, and Gildersleeve became so familiar a character, that he was referenced and satirized periodically in other comedies and in a few cartoons.

Arsenal
An arsenal is a place where arms and ammunition are made, maintained and repaired, stored, or issued, in any combination, whether privately or publicly owned. Arsenal and armoury (British English) or armory (US spelling) are mostly regarded as synonyms, although subtle differences in usage exist.
Sub-armory is a place of temporary storage or carrying of weapons and ammunition, like any temporary Post or patrol vehicle which is only operational in certain times of the day.
Etymology
From Italian: arsenale, and French: arsenal, from Arabic: دار الصناعة, dār aṣ-ṣināʕa, meaning "manufacturing shop".
Types
A lower-class arsenal, which can furnish the materiel and equipment of a small army, may contain a laboratory, gun and carriage factories, small-arms ammunition, small-arms, harness, saddlery tent and powder factories; in addition, it must possess great store-houses. In a second-class arsenal, the factories would be replaced by workshops. The situation of an arsenal should be governed by strategic considerations. If of the first class, it should be situated at the base of operations and supply, secure from attack, not too near a frontier, and placed so as to draw in readily the resources of the country. The importance of a large arsenal is such that its defences would be on the scale of those of a large fortress.

Of Human Bondage
Of Human Bondage (1915) is a novel by W. Somerset Maugham. It is generally agreed to be his masterpiece and to be strongly autobiographical in nature, although Maugham stated, "This is a novel, not an autobiography, though much in it is autobiographical, more is pure invention." Maugham, who had originally planned to call his novel Beauty from Ashes, finally settled on a title taken from a section of Spinoza's Ethics. The Modern Library ranked Of Human Bondage No. 66 on its list of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century.
Plot
The book begins with the death of Helen Carey, the mother of nine-year-old Philip Carey. Philip's father Henry had died a few months before, and the orphan Philip, born with a club foot, is sent to live with his Aunt Louisa and Uncle William Carey.
Early chapters relate Philip's experience at the vicarage. Louisa tries to be a mother to Philip, but his uncle takes a cold disposition towards him. Philip's uncle has a vast collection of books, and Philip enjoys reading to find ways to escape his mundane existence. Less than a year later, Philip is sent to a boarding school. His uncle and aunt wish for him to eventually attend Oxford. Philip's disability makes it difficult for him to fit in. Philip is informed that he could have earned a scholarship for Oxford, which both his uncle and school headmaster see as a wise course, but Philip insists on going to Germany.

Professor Bruno Siciliano is Director of the Interdepartmental Center for Advances in Robotic Surgery (ICAROS), as well as he is responsible of the Laboratory of Projects of Robotics for Industry, Services and Mechatronics (PRISMA Lab), both at University of Naples Federico II. Fellow of the scientific societies IEEE, ASME, IFAC, he was President of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society from 2008 to 2009. His book “Robotics” is among the most adopted academic texts worldwide, while his edited volume “Springer Handbook of Robotics” received the highest recognition for scientific publishing: 2008 PROSE Award for Excellence in Physical Sciences & Mathematics. Inner Peace Camp : giochi, avventura, meditazione, passeggiate, sport, laboratori, e tanto altro, una palestra di educazione all’aperto, immersi nella natura, in un parco incontaminato di 15 ettari. =============== I ragazzi vivono l'esperienza di Inner Peace Class, i quattro incontri di meditazione, con grande attenzione ed entusiasmo. Sono curiosi e felici di conoscere questa loro meravigliosa bellezza interiore. La scoperta della loro energia e lo stupore delle "mani che parlano". Orgogliosi di sapere che sono i "maestri di se stessi" e che potranno ritrovare la pace interiore ogni volta che ne avranno il desiderio. Sono sempre molto dispiaciuti alla fine del quarto incontro ed hanno il desiderio di proseguire l'esperienza. Stiamo cercando di organizzare corsi per dare continuità, magari in zone limitrofe alle scuole e stiamo promuovendo con grande entusiasmo da parte dei bambini e degli insegnanti Inner Peace Camp. The radio show Calling All Cars hired LAPD radio dispacher Jesse Rosenquist to be the voice of the dispatcher. Rosenquist was already famous because home radios could tune into early police radio frequencies. As the first police radio dispatcher presented to the public ear, his was the voice that actors went to when called upon for a radio dispatcher role. The iconic television series Dragnet, with LAPD Detective Joe Friday as the primary character, was the first major media representation of the department. Real LAPD operations inspired Jack Webb to create the series and close cooperation with department officers let him make it as realistic as possible, including authentic police equipment and sound recording on-site at the police station. Due to Dragnet's popularity, LAPD Chief Parker "became, after J. Edgar Hoover, the most well known and respected law enforcement official in the nation". In the 1960s, when the LAPD under Chief Thomas Reddin expanded its community relations division and began efforts to reach out to the African-American community, Dragnet followed suit with more emphasis on internal affairs and community policing than solving crimes, the show's previous mainstay. Several prominent representations of the LAPD and its officers in television and film include Adam-12, Blue Streak, Blue Thunder, Boomtown, The Closer, Colors, Crash, Columbo, Dark Blue, Die Hard, End of Watch, Heat, Hollywood Homicide, Hunter, Internal Affairs, Jackie Brown, L.A. Confidential, Lakeview Terrace, Law & Order: Los Angeles, Life, Numb3rs, The Shield, Southland, Speed, Street Kings, SWAT, Training Day and the Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour and Terminator film series. The LAPD is also featured in the video games Midnight Club II, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, L.A. Noire and Call of Juarez: The Cartel. The LAPD has also been the subject of numerous novels. Elizabeth Linington used the department as her backdrop in three different series written under three different names, perhaps the most popular being those novel featuring Det. Lt. Luis Mendoza, who was introduced in the Edgar-nominated Case Pending. Joseph Wambaugh, the son of a Pittsburgh policeman, spent fourteen years in the department, using his background to write novels with authentic fictional depictions of life in the LAPD. Wambaugh also created the Emmy-winning TV anthology series Police Story. Wambaugh was also a major influence on James Ellroy, who wrote several novels about the Department set during the 1940s and 1950s, the most famous of which are probably The Black Dahlia, fictionalizing the LAPD's most famous "cold case", and L.A. Confidential, which was made into a film of the same name. Both the novel and the film chronicled mass-murder and corruption inside and outside the force during the Parker era. Premiering on August 31, 1941, The Great Gildersleeve moved the title character from the McGees' Wistful Vista to Summerfield, where Gildersleeve now oversaw his late brother-in-law's estate and took on the rearing of his orphaned niece and nephew, Marjorie (originally played by Lurene Tuttle and followed by Louise Erickson and Mary Lee Robb) and Leroy Forester (Walter Tetley). The household also included a cook named Birdie. Curiously, while Gildersleeve had occasionally spoken of his (never-present) wife in some Fibber episodes, in his own series the character was a confirmed bachelor. In a striking forerunner to such later television hits as Bachelor Father and Family Affair, both of which are centered on well-to-do uncles taking in their deceased siblings' children, Gildersleeve was a bachelor raising two children while, at first, administering a girdle manufacturing company ("If you want a better corset, of course, it's a Gildersleeve") and then for the bulk of the show's run, serving as Summerfield's water commissioner, between time with the ladies and nights with the boys. The Great Gildersleeve may have been the first broadcast show to be centered on a single parent balancing child-rearing, work, and a social life, done with taste and genuine wit, often at the expense of Gildersleeve's now slightly understated pomposity. Many of the original episodes were co-written by John Whedon, father of Tom Whedon (who wrote The Golden Girls), and grandfather of Deadwood scripter Zack Whedon and Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog). The key to the show was Peary, whose booming voice and facility with moans, groans, laughs, shudders and inflection was as close to body language and facial suggestion as a voice could get. Professor Bruno Siciliano is Director of the Interdepartmental Center for Advances in Robotic Surgery (ICAROS), as well as he is responsible of the Laboratory of Projects of Robotics for Industry, Services and Mechatronics (PRISMA Lab), both at University of Naples Federico II. Fellow of the scientific societies IEEE, ASME, IFAC, he was President of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society from 2008 to 2009. His book “Robotics” is among the most adopted academic texts worldwide, while his edited volume “Springer Handbook of Robotics” received the highest recognition for scientific publishing: 2008 PROSE Award for Excellence in Physical Sciences & Mathematics.

Inner Peace Camp - Un'esperienza unica che unisce il divertimento e la natura alla scoperta di Sé. Un percorso di 7 giorni pieno di Energia e Gioia per far crescere nei ragazzi la consapevolezza del legame sottile che li unisce agli altri e alla natura.
Inner Peace Camp : giochi, avventura, meditazione, passeggiate, sport, laboratori, e tanto altro, una palestra di educazione all’aperto, immersi nella natura, in un parco incontaminato di 15 ettari.

I ragazzi vivono l'esperienza di Inner Peace Class, i quattro incontri di meditazione, con grande attenzione ed entusiasmo. Sono curiosi e felici di conoscere questa loro meravigliosa bellezza interiore. La scoperta della loro energia e lo stupore delle "mani che parlano". Orgogliosi di sapere che sono i "maestri di se stessi" e che potranno ritrovare la pace interiore ogni volta che ne avranno il desiderio.
Sono sempre molto dispiaciuti alla fine del quarto incontro ed hanno il desiderio di proseguire l'esperienza.
Stiamo cercando di organizzare corsi per dare continuità, magari in zone limitrofe alle scuole e stiamo promuovendo con grande entusiasmo da parte dei bambini e degli insegnanti Inner Peace Camp.
Se quattro incontri una volta alla settimana hanno prodotto questi risultati, pensate ad un totale di 100 bambini che avranno la possibilità di vivere un'intera settimana, 20 bambini per ogni settimana, l'esperienza quotidiana della meditazione immersi nella stupenda natura del Parco di Mongiardino (Alessandria).
Dalla scuola alla natura, dall’Inner Peace Class all’Inner Peace Camp. I bambini potranno continuare il viaggio alla scoperta del Sé e del legame sottile che li unisce agli altri e a Madre Terra.

The radio show Calling All Cars hired LAPD radio dispacher Jesse Rosenquist to be the voice of the dispatcher. Rosenquist was already famous because home radios could tune into early police radio frequencies. As the first police radio dispatcher presented to the public ear, his was the voice that actors went to when called upon for a radio dispatcher role.
The iconic television series Dragnet, with LAPD Detective Joe Friday as the primary character, was the first major media representation of the department. Real LAPD operations inspired Jack Webb to create the series and close cooperation with department officers let him make it as realistic as possible, including authentic police equipment and sound recording on-site at the police station.
Due to Dragnet's popularity, LAPD Chief Parker "became, after J. Edgar Hoover, the most well known and respected law enforcement official in the nation". In the 1960s, when the LAPD under Chief Thomas Reddin expanded its community relations division and began efforts to reach out to the African-American community, Dragnet followed suit with more emphasis on internal affairs and community policing than solving crimes, the show's previous mainstay.
Several prominent representations of the LAPD and its officers in television and film include Adam-12, Blue Streak, Blue Thunder, Boomtown, The Closer, Colors, Crash, Columbo, Dark Blue, Die Hard, End of Watch, Heat, Hollywood Homicide, Hunter, Internal Affairs, Jackie Brown, L.A. The household also included a cook named Birdie. Curiously, while Gildersleeve had occasionally spoken of his (never-present) wife in some Fibber episodes, in his own series the character was a confirmed bachelor.
In a striking forerunner to such later television hits as Bachelor Father and Family Affair, both of which are centered on well-to-do uncles taking in their deceased siblings' children, Gildersleeve was a bachelor raising two children while, at first, administering a girdle manufacturing company ("If you want a better corset, of course, it's a Gildersleeve") and then for the bulk of the show's run, serving as Summerfield's water commissioner, between time with the ladies and nights with the boys. The Great Gildersleeve may have been the first broadcast show to be centered on a single parent balancing child-rearing, work, and a social life, done with taste and genuine wit, often at the expense of Gildersleeve's now slightly understated pomposity.

The key to the show was Peary, whose booming voice and facility with moans, groans, laughs, shudders and inflection was as close to body language and facial suggestion as a voice could get. Professor Bruno Siciliano is Director of the Interdepartmental Center for Advances in Robotic Surgery (ICAROS), as well as he is responsible of the Laboratory of Projects of Robotics for Industry, Services and Mechatronics (PRISMA Lab), both at University of Naples Federico II. Fellow of the scientific societies IEEE, ASME, IFAC, he was President of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society from 2008 to 2009. His book “Robotics” is among the most adopted academic texts worldwide, while his edited volume “Springer Handbook of Robotics” received the highest recognition for scientific publishing: 2008 PROSE Award for Excellence in Physical Sciences & Mathematics.

Inner Peace Camp - Un'esperienza unica che unisce il divertimento e la natura alla scoperta di Sé. Un percorso di 7 giorni pieno di Energia e Gioia per far crescere nei ragazzi la consapevolezza del legame sottile che li unisce agli altri e alla natura.
Inner Peace Camp : giochi, avventura, meditazione, passeggiate, sport, laboratori, e tanto altro, una palestra di educazione all’aperto, immersi nella natura, in un parco incontaminato di 15 ettari.

I ragazzi vivono l'esperienza di Inner Peace Class, i quattro incontri di meditazione, con grande attenzione ed entusiasmo. Sono curiosi e felici di conoscere questa loro meravigliosa bellezza interiore. La scoperta della loro energia e lo stupore delle "mani che parlano". Orgogliosi di sapere che sono i "maestri di se stessi" e che potranno ritrovare la pace interiore ogni volta che ne avranno il desiderio.
Sono sempre molto dispiaciuti alla fine del quarto incontro ed hanno il desiderio di proseguire l'esperienza.
Stiamo cercando di organizzare corsi per dare continuità, magari in zone limitrofe alle scuole e stiamo promuovendo con grande entusiasmo da parte dei bambini e degli insegnanti Inner Peace Camp.
Se quattro incontri una volta alla settimana hanno prodotto questi risultati, pensate ad un totale di 100 bambini che avranno la possibilità di vivere un'intera settimana, 20 bambini per ogni settimana, l'esperienza quotidiana della meditazione immersi nella stupenda natura del Parco di Mongiardino (Alessandria).
Dalla scuola alla natura, dall’Inner Peace Class all’Inner Peace Camp. I bambini potranno continuare il viaggio alla scoperta del Sé e del legame sottile che li unisce agli altri e a Madre Terra.

The radio show Calling All Cars hired LAPD radio dispacher Jesse Rosenquist to be the voice of the dispatcher. Rosenquist was already famous because home radios could tune into early police radio frequencies. As the first police radio dispatcher presented to the public ear, his was the voice that actors went to when called upon for a radio dispatcher role.
The iconic television series Dragnet, with LAPD Detective Joe Friday as the primary character, was the first major media representation of the department. Real LAPD operations inspired Jack Webb to create the series and close cooperation with department officers let him make it as realistic as possible, including authentic police equipment and sound recording on-site at the police station.
Due to Dragnet's popularity, LAPD Chief Parker "became, after J. Edgar Hoover, the most well known and respected law enforcement official in the nation". In the 1960s, when the LAPD under Chief Thomas Reddin expanded its community relations division and began efforts to reach out to the African-American community, Dragnet followed suit with more emphasis on internal affairs and community policing than solving crimes, the show's previous mainstay.
Several prominent representations of the LAPD and its officers in television and film include Adam-12, Blue Streak, Blue Thunder, Boomtown, The Closer, Colors, Crash, Columbo, Dark Blue, Die Hard, End of Watch, Heat, Hollywood Homicide, Hunter, Internal Affairs, Jackie Brown, L.A. Confidential, Lakeview Terrace, Law & Order: Los Angeles, Life, Numb3rs, The Shield, Southland, Speed, Street Kings, SWAT, Training Day and the Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour and Terminator film series. Confidential, which was made into a film of the same name. Both the novel and the film chronicled mass-murder and corruption inside and outside the force during the Parker era. The household also included a cook named Birdie. Curiously, while Gildersleeve had occasionally spoken of his (never-present) wife in some Fibber episodes, in his own series the character was a confirmed bachelor.
In a striking forerunner to such later television hits as Bachelor Father and Family Affair, both of which are centered on well-to-do uncles taking in their deceased siblings' children, Gildersleeve was a bachelor raising two children while, at first, administering a girdle manufacturing company ("If you want a better corset, of course, it's a Gildersleeve") and then for the bulk of the show's run, serving as Summerfield's water commissioner, between time with the ladies and nights with the boys. The Great Gildersleeve may have been the first broadcast show to be centered on a single parent balancing child-rearing, work, and a social life, done with taste and genuine wit, often at the expense of Gildersleeve's now slightly understated pomposity.
Many of the original episodes were co-written by John Whedon, father of Tom Whedon (who wrote The Golden Girls), and grandfather of Deadwood scripter Zack Whedon and Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog).
The key to the show was Peary, whose booming voice and facility with moans, groans, laughs, shudders and inflection was as close to body language and facial suggestion as a voice could get. Peary was so effective, and Gildersleeve became so familiar a character, that he was referenced and satirized periodically in other comedies and in a few cartoons.

The radio show Calling All Cars hired LAPD radio dispacher Jesse Rosenquist to be the voice of the dispatcher. Rosenquist was already famous because home radios could tune into early police radio frequencies. As the first police radio dispatcher presented to the public ear, his was the voice that actors went to when called upon for a radio dispatcher role.
The iconic television series Dragnet, with LAPD Detective Joe Friday as the primary character, was the first major media representation of the department. Real LAPD operations inspired Jack Webb to create the series and close cooperation with department officers let him make it as realistic as possible, including authentic police equipment and sound recording on-site at the police station.
Due to Dragnet's popularity, LAPD Chief Parker "became, after J. Edgar Hoover, the most well known and respected law enforcement official in the nation". In the 1960s, when the LAPD under Chief Thomas Reddin expanded its community relations division and began efforts to reach out to the African-American community, Dragnet followed suit with more emphasis on internal affairs and community policing than solving crimes, the show's previous mainstay.
