If it looks like your Countdown is one hour wrong, it's because clocks will change due to Daylight Saving Time (DST) before it ends.
One hour too long on a countdown?
If your countdown seems to be an hour too long, it's because DST will end in the location you've entered between the start and finish of your countdown. One hour is repeated when clocks are turned back, and that hour is therefore added to the countdown.

If the countdown seems an hour too short, it's because DST will start in the location you've entered between the start and finish of your countdown. One hour is skipped when clocks are turned forward and that hour is subtracted from the countdown.
