"Still I" is a 2007 song by R&B singer CeCe Peniston, recorded in collaboration with Rodney R.K. Jackson and Felipe “Wax” Delgado, who initially found success producing and co-writing the Peniston’s gold-certified album Finally on A&M Records in 1992.
The composition, written by both industry veterans, altogether with Nick "Cello" Valentine (with whom they formed a new production crew called SandWorx), was to be released on Heat City Records, a music company that dissolved in 1996, and resurrected in 2006 with the signing of Krieg Nation.
After their reunion with Peniston herself, producers intended to record a full length R&B album for her, but the singer didn't decide to proceed with the project, and after working on another three tracks ("Wonder Woman", "Next to Me" and "Right Here") she eventually didn't expect either "Still I" to go public. Nevertheless, the record was released in September 2007 as a download single on Adrenaline Music, which included in total four mixes by Sandworx.
Still I Rise may refer to:
Maya Angelou (i/ˈmaɪ.ə ˈændʒəloʊ/; born Marguerite Annie Johnson; April 4, 1928 – May 28, 2014) was an American author, poet, and civil rights activist. She published seven autobiographies, three books of essays, and several books of poetry, and was credited with a list of plays, movies, and television shows spanning over 50 years. She received dozens of awards and more than 50 honorary degrees. Angelou is best known for her series of seven autobiographies, which focus on her childhood and early adult experiences. The first, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (1969), tells of her life up to the age of 17 and brought her international recognition and acclaim.
She became a poet and writer after a series of occupations as a young adult, including fry cook, prostitute, nightclub dancer and performer, cast member of the opera Porgy and Bess, coordinator for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and journalist in Egypt and Ghana during the decolonization of Africa. She was an actor, writer, director, and producer of plays, movies, and public television programs. In 1982, she earned the first lifetime Reynolds Professorship of American Studies at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was active in the Civil Rights movement, and worked with Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X. Beginning in the 1990s, she made around 80 appearances a year on the lecture circuit, something she continued into her eighties. In 1993, Angelou recited her poem "On the Pulse of Morning" (1993) at President Bill Clinton's inauguration, making her the first poet to make an inaugural recitation since Robert Frost at President John F. Kennedy's inauguration in 1961.
"I Will" is a song by the Beatles that was released on The Beatles. It was written by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon–McCartney) and features him on lead vocal, guitar, and "vocal bass".
"I Will" was one of the songs worked on by the Beatles and their associates while in Rishikesh, India. Although the music came together fairly easily, the words were worked on in India, and remained unfinished even as recording began back in London.
This quiet song required 67 takes, and George Harrison did not play (during The Beatles sessions, the Beatles often recorded in separate studios). However, the reason for Harrison's absence from the session has never been clarified.
During take 19 of "I Will", McCartney ad-libbed an untitled and uncopyrighted song (referred to as "Can you take me back?" by author Ian MacDonald), a 28-second segment of which ended up on side 4 of the album The Beatles as what MacDonald described as “a sinister introduction to "Revolution 9"”. Also ad-libbed by McCartney was "Los Paranoias", released, together with take 1 of "I Will", in 1996 on Anthology 3.
I Will Trust is the twelfth solo album from Contemporary Gospel singer Fred Hammond. The album was released on November 17, 2014 through RCA Records.
I Will Trust sees Fred Hammond freshly inspired after he underwent double knee replacement. Feelings of gratefulness and unswerving trust fill the album, which is jubilant—often to a full-tilt extent—even at its most reflective. Unsurprisingly, there are some nimble and juicy basslines here, as heard throughout "I Believe," "It's Mine," and "You Bless Me Over and Over." Rather amazingly, Hammond supported this album with a 30-city tour alongside Donnie McClurkin.

Ghetto ghetto
Is just that ghetto ghetto
Ghetto ghetto
We still ghetto ghetto
Ghetto ghetto
I've been thinkin lately baby
Maybe we should layin tonight
I've been pushing paper crazy
Even if it's wrong I feel this right
Maybe we can make sweet love
Cause I know it feels so good
In order to escape this pressure
You know what? We should
Steal away, steal away
Leave for a day, we'll never say
We should've left much more soon
For one night let's share the moon
Can we make love all that day
Steal away
You know I really need you sugar
I want you to make me away
I can't wait till we leave out
So we can be together there's no doubts
That my love it has no limit
So I will wipe away your frown
How come your sexy secrets
Now I'll join you, for the rest of my life
Steal away, steal away
Leave for a day, we'll never say
We should've left much more soon
For one night let's share the moon
Can we make love all that day
Steal away
For sure mamma steal away
Car keys to my mens Benz and peel away
Spillin say, whatever you man like it or not
He aint diggin it right
So I'mma be pipe in line
Icey on hot mami hold on if you aint
We put a flick on your hand
I'll front your navel
What it costs, I'm able to make you happy
Whatever's the back fo' dot six in the navy
Blankets and pillows fluffed up
And we shine like we puffed up
Blowin that dro till we fucked up
Is longs up, I just stole his honey
All his honey he wild like I stole his money
His gold is honey, my gold is money
He can have my wife, while me and you live that lavish life
With your V-Secrets satin tight, thongs and bras
I'm hoping to God this ain't no mirage.
Steal away, steal away
Leave for a day, we'll never say
We should've left much more soon
For one night let's share the moon
Can we make love all that day
Steal away
Steal away, steal away
Leave for a day, we'll never say
We should've left much more soon
For one night let's share the moon
Can we make love all that day
Steal away
