ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಮಗನೊಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ಮಹಿಳೆಗೆ ಕೈಕೊಟ್ಟು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ಘಟನೆ ತುಮಕೂರಿನ ಸದಾಶಿವನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ್ ಅವರ ಮಗ ವಿಜಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂಬುವವನೇ ಕೈಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರೇಮಿ. 7 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪುಷ್ಪಾ ಎಂಬುವವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಇದರ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಪುಷ್ಪಾಗೆ ಎರಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿವೆ.
ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಪುಷ್ಪಾಗೆ ಮೋಸ ಮಾಡಿ, ಕಳೆದ ನವಂಬರ್ 11 ರಂದು ಲಕ್ಷಿತ ಎಂಬುವವರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ವಿಜಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮೋಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿದ ಮೊದಲ ಪತ್ನಿ ಪುಷ್ಪಾ ಈಗ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ್ ಅವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವಿತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಪುಷ್ಪಾಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದರೂ ಸಹ ದೂರನ್ನ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ.

Veeragase performed by the 9th standard girls of Sacred Heart School,Upparahalli , Tumkur won First place from some 25 entries.Veeragase is a dance folk form prevalent in the state of Karnataka, India. It is a vigorous dance based on Hindu mythology and involves very intense energy-sapping dance movements.
Veeragase is one of the dances demonstrated in the Dasara procession held in Mysore.
Veeragase gets its name from the Hindu legendary warrior, Veerabhadra. According to a legend, the Hindu God Shiva was married to Dakshayini, whose father Daksha was against this marriage and hence bore enmity with Shiva. When he performed a yagna, he invited all the Gods except Shiva. Much against Shiva's wishes, Dakshayini went to the yagna uninvited and was insulted by Daksha. Unable to bear the insults, Dakshayini jumped into the sacrificial fire. Hearing this news, Shiva got very angry and started to perform the Tandava dance which created turmoil in the world. When one of the sweat drops from Shiva fell on to the earth, it gave rise to the warrior, Veerabhadra who went to Daksha's yagna, disrupted it and killed Daksha. When Daksha's wife pleaded mercy, he regained his life. This story is narrated by the dancers performing Veeragase.

Tumkur
Tumkur, officially renamed Tumakuru in 2014, is an industrial city located in the state of Karnataka. Since 28 August 2010, Tumakuru has been accorded the status of a City Corporation. It is situated at a distance of 70 kilometers northwest of Bengaluru, along National Highway NH4 and NH206. It is the headquarters of the Tumakuru district. Tumakuru plays host for India's first mega food park which is a project of the ministry of food processing. The India Food Park was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in September 2014.
Tumkur has been selected as one of the hundred Indian cities to be developed as a smart city under PM Narendra Modi's flagship Smart Cities Mission.
Etymology
Etymologically, the name of the city is believed to have been mutated possibly from "Tumbe ooru" because of the abundance of tumbe huuvu, a kind of flower, or tamate ooru because of the folk musical percussion instrument tamate, that might have been used most here. Also, it is called as the coconut city.

ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಮಗನೊಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ಮಹಿಳೆಗೆ ಕೈಕೊಟ್ಟು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ಘಟನೆ ತುಮಕೂರಿನ ಸದಾಶಿವನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ್ ಅವರ ಮಗ ವಿಜಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂಬುವವನೇ ಕೈಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರೇಮಿ. 7 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪುಷ್ಪಾ ಎಂಬುವವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಇದರ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಪುಷ್ಪಾಗೆ ಎರಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿವೆ.
ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಪುಷ್ಪಾಗೆ ಮೋಸ ಮಾಡಿ, ಕಳೆದ ನವಂಬರ್ 11 ರಂದು ಲಕ್ಷಿತ ಎಂಬುವವರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ವಿಜಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮೋಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿದ ಮೊದಲ ಪತ್ನಿ ಪುಷ್ಪಾ ಈಗ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ್ ಅವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವಿತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಪುಷ್ಪಾಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದರೂ ಸಹ ದೂರನ್ನ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ.

Veeragase performed by the 9th standard girls of Sacred Heart School,Upparahalli , Tumkur won First place from some 25 entries.Veeragase is a dance folk form prevalent in the state of Karnataka, India. It is a vigorous dance based on Hindu mythology and involves very intense energy-sapping dance movements.
Veeragase is one of the dances demonstrated in the Dasara procession held in Mysore.
Veeragase gets its name from the Hindu legendary warrior, Veerabhadra. According to a legend, the Hindu God Shiva was married to Dakshayini, whose father Daksha was against this marriage and hence bore enmity with Shiva. When he performed a yagna, he invited all the Gods except Shiva. Much against Shiva's wishes, Dakshayini went to the yagna uninvited and was insulted by Daksha. Unable to bear the insults, Dakshayini jumped into the sacrificial fire. Hearing this news, Shiva got very angry and started to perform the Tandava dance which created turmoil in the world. When one of the sweat drops from Shiva fell on to the earth, it gave rise to the warrior, Veerabhadra who went to Daksha's yagna, disrupted it and killed Daksha. When Daksha's wife pleaded mercy, he regained his life. This story is narrated by the dancers performing Veeragase.

Day trip from Bangalore to Tumkur
My day trip going by train from Yesvantpur to Tumkur. A lot of platform and tracks construction going on by the railway station. The video shows some of the shops on Bangalore-Honavar Road and MG Road. The Hut on MG Road was a good veg restaurant where I had lunch. I also visited the geodesic dome library at the Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology. No doubt as Bangalore grows and develops more, so will Tumkur.

Kaveri Nisargadhama: is a 64-acreisland with lush foliage of thick bamboo groves, sandalwood and teak trees island formed and surrounded by river Kaveri. It is approximately 3 km from Kushalanagara town in coorg. The island is accessible through a hanging rope bridge.Its a must place to visit in coorg trip.
Raja's seat offers a panoramic view of the whole of Coorg hills. Apparently, erstwhile kings of Mysore would come to this place to rest and view the Coorg hills. Every evening, musical fountain is played to the tunes of popular kannada and hindi numbers.
Bhagmandala is a confluence of three rivers and is considered a sacred place. It is at a distance of 38km from Madikeri.
The Mandalpatti hills in coorg are one of the best trekking spots in Coorg. Mandalpatti hills are located around 30 km from Madikeri town in Coorg.Its an absolutely scenic place in Coorg.
Buddhist Namdroling Monastery and Golden Temple at Bylakuppe near Coorg. Bylakuppe is a Tibetian Refugee settlement in Kodagu
Talakaveri / Talacauvery : River Kaveri which is one of the 7 sacred rivers of Sapta Sindhus of the Hindu scriptures, originated at a place is called Talakaveri (head of Cauvery) in the Brahmagiri hills, at about 4,500 ft above sea level. This place is marked by a tirtha kundike or Brahma kundike (small spring/pond) from where the river emerges as a small perennial spring, but flows underground again to emerge a short distance away. It is about 48 km from Madikeri, Coorg.
Major Resorts and Hotels in Coorg are :Orange County Coorg ,Misty Mercara , Club Mahindra Kodagu Valley Resort etc . There are also very good homestays in coorg situated away from the main town (Madikeri) and are best suited to people who prefer nature over traditional sightseeing . Bangalore Coorg distance is around 250 km

In the Land of Kodavas...A Road Trip To Coorg
Coorg / Kodagu is situated in southwestern Karnataka INDIA and is home to the native speakers of Kodava language.Madikeri /Mercara is the headquarters of the Kodagu/ Coorg District.Coorg district is famous for its coffee estates and its misty mountains.
The places covered in this video are Dubare - Elephant Camp- Coorg ,Kaveri Nisargadhama, Raja's seat Madikeri, Mandalpatti hills,Golden temple Bylakuppe etc
Dubare - Elephant Camp- Coorg :- This is an elephant capturing and training camp of the Forest Department, at the edge of Dubare forest, on the bank of river Kaveri, on the Kushalnagar - Siddapur road.The main attraction here is the river rafting or White Water Rafting. We can experience the real White Water Rafting on a 7 km stretch .
Kaveri Nisargadhama: is a 64-acreisland with lush foliage of thick bamboo groves, sandalwood and teak trees island formed and surrounded by river Kaveri. It is approximately 3 km from Kushalanagara town in coorg. The island is accessible through a hanging rope bridge.Its a must place to visit in coorg trip.
Raja's seat offers a panoramic view of the whole of Coorg hills. Apparently, erstwhile kings of Mysore would come to this place to rest and view the Coorg hills. Every evening, musical fountain is played to the tunes of popular kannada and hindi numbers.
Bhagmandala is a confluence of three rivers and is considered a sacred place. It is at a distance of 38km from Madikeri.
The Mandalpatti hills in coorg are one of the best trekking spots in Coorg. Mandalpatti hills are located around 30 km from Madikeri town in Coorg.Its an absolutely scenic place in Coorg.
Buddhist Namdroling Monastery and Golden Temple at Bylakuppe near Coorg. Bylakuppe is a Tibetian Refugee settlement in Kodagu
Talakaveri / Talacauvery : River Kaveri which is one of the 7 sacred rivers of Sapta Sindhus of the Hindu scriptures, originated at a place is called Talakaveri (head of Cauvery) in the Brahmagiri hills, at about 4,500 ft above sea level. This place is marked by a tirtha kundike or Brahma kundike (small spring/pond) from where the river emerges as a small perennial spring, but flows underground again to emerge a short distance away. It is about 48 km from Madikeri, Coorg.
Major Resorts and Hotels in Coorg are :Orange County Coorg ,Misty Mercara , Club Mahindra Kodagu Valley Resort etc . There are also very good homestays in coorg situated away from the main town (Madikeri) and are best suited to people who prefer nature over traditional sightseeing . Bangalore Coorg distance is around 250 km

My day trip going by train from Yesvantpur to Tumkur. A lot of platform and tracks construction going on by the railway station. The video shows some of the shops on Bangalore-Honavar Road and MG Road. The Hut on MG Road was a good veg restaurant where I had lunch. I also visited the geodesic dome library at the Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology. No doubt as Bangalore grows and develops more, so will Tumkur.

A jaw-dropping Rs 1,806 crore was deposited in 21 District Central Co-operative (DCC) Banks and Apex Co-operative Banks in a span of six days between November 9 and 13 this year in the state. The state co-operation department has no clue about the source of such huge deposits ... Among DCC banks, Belagavi and Tumakuru have reported highest deposits of Rs 348 crore and Rs 100 crore respectively during this period ... ....
