We also discuss her government's successes and Kenya's experience with the International Criminal Court. In the Reality Check, Mehdi Hasan looks into the French concept of "laicite" - separation of church and state - and some of the double standards it seems to have when it comes to Islam. The armed group al-Shabab continues to sow chaos in Somalia and Kenya, as evidenced by the latest attack which left six dead just a kilometre from the Somali border. Five years since Kenya first crossed the Somali border to root out al-Shabab fighters, attacks have seemingly increased. In this week's Headliner, Mehdi Hasan asks Kenyan Foreign Minister Amina Mohamed about her country's achievements against the armed group and if the intervention has backfired. Amina Mohamed also discusses accusations about the treatment of ethnic Somalis and refugees in the country. Kenya, which has taken more than half a million refugees, hosts one of the largest refugee populations in the world. We also discuss her government's successes and Kenya's experience with the International Criminal Court. E...

Somalia's al-Qaeda-linked rebel group, al-Shabab, has vowed to recapture all Somali territory that it lost in the past year during battles with government forces and African Union peacekeepers. In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera conducted earlier this month, al-Shabab spokesman Sheikh Ali Dheere said the rebel group was not on the back foot despite the recent losses. "Al-Shabab leaving those towns only shows a change of tactics. We will not be finished. Somalia belongs to al-Shabab. The land and the people are ours. We will not leave our land because of an enemy," Ali Dheere said, adding that there was no chance of holding talks with the government.

What did Del-a-ware boy, what did Delaware

Oh, why did Cali-fon-ia

Was she all alone
She called to say Ha-wa-ya
She called to say Ha-wa-ya
She called to say Ha-wa-ya
That's why she did call
Uno, deis, tre, quatro
Oh what did Missi sip boy
What did Missi sip
What did missi sip
Through her pretty lips
She sipped a Minne sota
She sipped a Minne sota
She sipped a Minne sota
That's what she did sip
Where has Oregon boy
Where has Oregon
If you wan Al-ask-a
Go ahead and ask her
She went to pay her Texas
She went to pay her Texas
She went to pay her Texas
That's where she has gone
Well how did Wis-con-sin boy
She stole a New-brass-key
Too bad that Arkan saw boy
And so did Tenne-see
It made poor Flori-di boy
It made poor Flori-di, you see
