Ingredients
-2L Dr Pepper
-28 envelopes (196 grams) gelatine
Procedure
1. Combine soda and gelatin together and heat in the microwave for 2-3 minutes or until gelatine has dissolved.
2. Remove label from bottle using a sharp knife and heat.
3. Spray inside the bottle with nonstick spray.
4. Pour liquid back into bottle. Place cap back on the bottle and chill the bottle for 6-8 hours or overnight
5. To remove gummy from the bottle simply use a sharp knife to release it from the plastic.
6. Wrap label back around bottle and place cap on the top.

10 Fun Things to do with a 2 Liter Bottle - Soda Bottle Crafts - Fun Life Hacks for Kids
Here are 10 Quick and Easy things to do with a 2 liter bottle
1. Cut the bottom off two bottles and using a wiffle ball, two people can play catch.
2. Set up several bottles and practice your bowling with a rubber ball.
3. Cut the bottom off two bottles and tape them together. Then attach a third bottle to a pole and you have a homemade softball set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gpp4gMHOhko
4. Cut the bottom off a colored bottle and place it inside a lamp to change the color of a room. Make sure to only use a florescent light.
5. Get 4 bottles and 2 poles (1/2" PVC works great). Slide each bottle over the end of each pipe about 2 inches and tape in place. You now have some fun Jousting Sticks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hon1kjKoBYs
6. Cut the bottom off a bottle and dip it into some bubble solution to make some big bubbles.
7. Cut the bottom off and place it over a small plant to create a mini greenhouse.

9. Using a small pin, make a bunch of random holes in one half of the bottle. Now attach it to a hose and you have a sprinkler for the grass, or better yet for the kids to stay cool in the summer.
10. If you cut the top off of a bottle and attach a balloon, then push the balloon through the top, you have created a balloon shooter. Or using that same top, you can seal plastic bags with a twist.
These are some great kids crafts and activities for kids. Some May ever refer to them as life hacks.

No matter where in the world you find yourself stranded, chances are someone else has been there before you and there will be trash laying around. In some cases, we can use this trash to save our lives. If you can find a plastic bottle of any size you can use it to get food by turning it into a fish trap. This fish trap is most often made with a 2 letter bottle but can be used with a smaller or bigger plastic bottle. The build is simple enough. You cut the top off and invert it then reattach to the remaining bottle body. The idea is that you make it easy for the fish to swim into your trap but it is difficult for the fish to find there way out of the hole they swam into. This same concept is use for commercial grade fish trap, lobster traps and crab traps.

The two-liter bottle is a common container for soft drinks. These bottles are produced from polyethylene terephthalate, also known as PET plastic, using the blow molding process. Bottle labels consist of a printed, tight-fitted plastic sleeve. A resealable screw-top allows the contents to be used at various times while retaining carbonation.
In the United States, the two-liter bottle is one of the few cases where a product is sold by a round number of metric units. Since very few other beverages are sold in this exact quantity, the term "two-liter" in American English almost invariably refers to a soft drink bottle. Other common metric sizes for plastic soft drink bottles include 500 milliliters, 1 liter and 3 liters.
PepsiCo introduced the first two-liter sized soft drink bottle in 1970, The bottle was invented by a team led by Nathaniel Wyeth of DuPont who received the patent in 1973. In 1985, a three-liter bottle appeared on supermarket shelves. The design is still used to this day by some bottlers. Most modern-day two-liter bottles are one piece of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) with a base that is molded with a radial corrugation to provide strength for the bottom and the ability to stand upright. Most early two-liters had a separate opaque base glued to the hemispherical bottom of the clear PET flask. This base had a coaxial corrugation and drain holes.

10 Fun Things to do with a 2 Liter Bottle - Soda Bottle Crafts - Fun Life Hacks for Kids Here are 10 Quick and Easy things to do with a 2 liter bottle 1. Cut the bottom off two bottles and using a wiffle ball, two people can play catch. 2. Set up several bottles and practice your bowling with a rubber ball. 3. Cut the bottom off two bottles and tape them together. Then attach a third bottle to a pole and you have a homemade softball set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gpp4gMHOhko 4. Cut the bottom off a colored bottle and place it inside a lamp to change the color of a room. Make sure to only use a florescent light. 5. Get 4 bottles and 2 poles (1/2" PVC works great). Cut the bottom off a bottle and dip it into some bubble solution to make some big bubbles. 7. Cut the bottom off and place it over a small plant to create a mini greenhouse. 8. Using a small pin, make a bunch of random holes in one half of the bottle. Now attach it to a hose and you have a sprinkler for the grass, or better yet for the kids to stay cool in the summer. 10. If you cut the top off of a bottle and attach a balloon, then push the balloon through the top, you have created a balloon shooter. Or using that same top, you can seal plastic bags with a twist. In some cases, we can use this trash to save our lives. If you can find a plastic bottle of any size you can use it to get food by turning it into a fish trap. This fish trap is most often made with a 2 letter bottle but can be used with a smaller or bigger plastic bottle. The build is simple enough. You cut the top off and invert it then reattach to the remaining bottle body. The idea is that you make it easy for the fish to swim into your trap but it is difficult for the fish to find there way out of the hole they swam into. This same concept is use for commercial grade fish trap, lobster traps and crab traps. Ingredients
-2L Dr Pepper
-28 envelopes (196 grams) gelatine
Procedure
1. Combine soda and gelatin together and heat in the microwave for 2-3 minutes or until gelatine has dissolved.
2. Remove label from bottle using a sharp knife and heat.
3. Spray inside the bottle with nonstick spray.
4. Pour liquid back into bottle. Place cap back on the bottle and chill the bottle for 6-8 hours or overnight
5. To remove gummy from the bottle simply use a sharp knife to release it from the plastic.
6. Wrap label back around bottle and place cap on the top.

10 Fun Things to do with a 2 Liter Bottle - Soda Bottle Crafts - Fun Life Hacks for Kids
Here are 10 Quick and Easy things to do with a 2 liter bottle
1. Cut the bottom off two bottles and using a wiffle ball, two people can play catch.
2. Set up several bottles and practice your bowling with a rubber ball.
3. Cut the bottom off two bottles and tape them together. Then attach a third bottle to a pole and you have a homemade softball set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gpp4gMHOhko
4. Cut the bottom off a colored bottle and place it inside a lamp to change the color of a room. Make sure to only use a florescent light.
5. Get 4 bottles and 2 poles (1/2" PVC works great). Slide each bottle over the end of each pipe about 2 inches and tape in place. You now have some fun Jousting Sticks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hon1kjKoBYs
6. Cut the bottom off a bottle and dip it into some bubble solution to make some big bubbles.
7. Cut the bottom off and place it over a small plant to create a mini greenhouse.
8. Using some PVC and paper, build a launching pad and rocket. Them use the 2 liter bottle to launch the rocket into the air. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOx1wpxVFvY
9. Using a small pin, make a bunch of random holes in one half of the bottle. Now attach it to a hose and you have a sprinkler for the grass, or better yet for the kids to stay cool in the summer.
10. If you cut the top off of a bottle and attach a balloon, then push the balloon through the top, you have created a balloon shooter. Or using that same top, you can seal plastic bags with a twist.
These are some great kids crafts and activities for kids. Some May ever refer to them as life hacks.
