Amy Goodman Talk and Book Signing FRESNO APRIL 29 7 PM

AMY GOODMAN, host of radio and TV show DEMOCRACY NOW! has a book celebrating the 20th anniversary of the show. She will be our guest at a talk and book signing to benefit KFCF-FM. The event will be at main sanctuary at The Big Red Church (First Congregational Church of Fresno) at 7 PM on Friday, April 29th. The church is at 2131 Van Ness Blvd between Weldon and Clinton Avenues.

Tickets are $18 at the door. Copies of her new book "Democracy Now!:Twenty Years Covering the Movements Changing America" will be available at the event for purchase. The book was written by Amy Goodman, David Goodman, and Denis Moynihan. Amy and Denis will be at the event.

Tickets are still available as of Thursday night at: Whitie's Pets (Barstow and Blackstone), Repeat Performance Consignment (1429 N Van Ness Ave) and at Tower District Records (Olive and Palm Avenues) Tickets go on sale March 28th.

FFCF Board of Directors Meeting

The Board of Directors of the Fresno Free College Foundation holds its regular meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at the Fresno Center For Non Violence/Peace Fresno at 1584 N Van Ness Avenue Avenue in Fresno.

The next meeting is scheduled for April 19, 2016
