"George Bush's father (GHWB) came in as C.I.A. director the month following the Welch assassination. As director he presided over the agency as they mounted a campaign throughout western Europe trying to make me appear to be a security threat, a traitor, a Soviet agent, a Cuban agent. All those sorts of things which led to my expulsion from five different NATO countries in the late 1970's. In fact it was in all based on lies, and to think that I was responsible for the death of any C.I.A. people for their exposures is absolutely false. No one as far as I know of all those people who were exposed as C.I.A. people along with their operations was ever even harassed or threatened. What happened was, their operations were disrupted and that was the purpose of what we were doing. CD The project kicks off with "Work It Out", written by A. Hollis, a soul-stirring, hand-clap generating song that will certainly get you on your feet. It flows right into "So Good", a mid-tempo contemporary praise and worship song featuring the inestimable Paul Porter on lead vocals along with Agee. The title track "There's A Meeting" features a classic quartet arrangement.
There's Gonna Be a Meeting offers something for everybody as we get a taste of the blues on, "Yes He Can". Then on the churchy and upbeat "Fresh Anointing", the vamp sends God's anointing into the place of worship.
True to the album title, the fully old school church experience is captures, filled with heart and soul. Church classics, such as, "Bye and Bye", "Traveling Shoes" are re-worked, keeping their original style but offering something new. The backing vocalists enhance the quartet sound with strong and full vocals.

Evelyn Turrentine-Agee, "God Did It" Audio CD Release Date: February 1, 2000
Evelyn is a native of St. Louis, Missouri now living in Detroit, Michigan. This energetic, multifaceted lady wears many hats daily as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker, entrepreneur, evangelist, and recording artist. She manages her own career, owns her own record label and spends many hours ministering to and praying for others on a daily basis.
This traditional gospel artist has come to be loved by her fans for her contributions in the quartet community; and her industry contemporaries have dubbed her the "Queen of Quartet". However, Evelyn doesn't limit her music to any category as she considers it just gospel in its traditional style. She says, My love and my joy as well as, I believe, my anointing is in just churchin in my music. She is known and favored for her humble, pleasant, genuine attitude and her love for God and people.

No matter who is president, particularly since 1945, there has been a steady stream of U.S. interventions in countries far and wide. From Grenada to Panama and from Iraq to Afghanistan, there is no country too big or small where the U.S. does not declare it has an interest in. One of the key weapons in Washington's arsenal is the Central Intelligence Agency. sometimes just referred to as the Agency or the Company. The idea that there are rogue agents carrying out their own operations is not supported by facts. The CIA is an instrument of the White House.
Philip Agee was a former Central Intelligence Agency officer who served in Latin America. After resigning from the CIA he lectured and wrote on the Agency's clandestine operations. His activities were not unnoticed. Ex-CIA Director and later President Bush the first called Agee "a traitor to our country." He is the author of Inside the Company: CIA Diary and On the Run. He died in Cuba in January 2008.
