Here we have a two week old (at the time) ACCO GenV handling a line of 120Ltr's and a 7 year old ACCO Mk IV doing the recycling, on the esplanade of Cowes.
Filmed in January 2012, the driver of the brand new GenV had only got this truck two weeks prior to this, which before hand he drove a 2007 6x4 ACCO with a 22m3 GenV
refuse body.
A big thank you to Pete the garbage driver and Adam(the bosses son) the recycle driver.
The BCS fleet consists of about :
6 2010 4x2 ACCO's with 19m3 raptor's for garbage
6 2010 4x2 ACCO's with 25m3 raptors for recycle
2 2004 4x2 ACCO's with 18m3 Mk IV's for garbage (spare/summer back up)
2 2004 4x2 ACCO's with 25m3 Mk IV's for recycle (spare/summer back up)
1 2007 6x4 ACCO with 22m3 GenV for garbage

This is a community project supported through the former Community Building Initiatives Program auspiced by South Gippsland Shire Council. It incorperated in Bass Coast Shire the towns of Grantville, Pioneer Bay, Coronet Bay, Corenella and Kernot. Funding was provided through grant by the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust which was orginally intended to provide new facilities at the Bass Valley PS so that community use of their outdoor pool may occur, due to problems with the School administration who changed their mind on supporting the community the Trust allowed the funds to be re-directed to this project which also now provides a benifit to the communities.

It is located in the south-eastern part of the state, less than 90 minutes from Melbourne, and includes the popular tourist destination, Phillip Island. It has an area of 859 square kilometres and has an estimated population of 29,581 people.
It was formed in December 1994 from the merger of the Shire of Bass, Shire of Phillip Island, Borough of Wonthaggi and parts of the Shire of Woorayl, Shire of Korumburra and Shire of Cranbourne.
Each ward is represented by one elected Councillor.

Here we have a two week old (at the time) ACCO GenV handling a line of 120Ltr's and a 7 year old ACCO Mk IV doing the recycling, on the esplanade of Cowes.
Filmed in January 2012, the driver of the brand new GenV had only got this truck two weeks prior to this, which before hand he drove a 2007 6x4 ACCO with a 22m3 GenV
refuse body.
A big thank you to Pete the garbage driver and Adam(the bosses son) the recycle driver.
The BCS fleet consists of about :
6 2010 4x2 ACCO's with 19m3 raptor's for garbage
6 2010 4x2 ACCO's with 25m3 raptors for recycle
2 2004 4x2 ACCO's with 18m3 Mk IV's for garbage (spare/summer back up)

Phillip Island is an Australian island about 140 km (87 mi) south-southeast of Melbourne, Victoria. Named after Arthur Phillip, the first Governor of New South Wales, Phillip Island forms a natural breakwater for the shallow waters of the Western Port. It is 26 km (16 mi) long and 9 km (5.6 mi) wide, with an area of about 100 km2 (40 sq mi).[1] It has 97 km (60 mi) of coastline and is part of the Bass Coast Shire.
A 640 m (2,100 ft) concrete bridge (originally a wooden bridge) connects the mainland town San Remo with the island town Newhaven.[1] In the 2011 census the island's permanent population was 9,406,[2] compared to 7,071 in 2001.[3] During the summer, the population swells to 40,000. 60% of the island is farmland devoted to grazing of sheep and cattle.
