Ku Hye Sun is a South Korean popular actress who gained fame in the hit drama, Pure in Heart (열 아홉 순정). She is well-known for portraying Geum Jan Di in KBS 2TV's drama Boys Over Flowers together with Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Bum and Kim Joon, as well as other films she did.
She recently wrote a book, Tango (탱고). The book received good reviews and many critics praised her for her well structured sentences. This book is currently a bestseller, selling 30,000 copies within one week. She also illustrated the cover of Gummy's album.
Make her official debut as a director through her short film "A Pleasant Helper", at the 13th annual Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival on July 16, 2009. Her first art exhibit Tango has come to a satisfactory ending. According to the news of YG company, Ku Hye Sun has her exhibition held at Seoul Museum from 1–7 July and attracted about 10,000 visitors, creating a huge scene in the exhibition. Her 50 pieces of work are designs and illustrations for her novel Tango as well as some of her creative works when she was filming Boys Over Flowers overseas.

(born January 9, 1987) is a Japanese actress. She was a U-15 idol from 1999. She is best known to Japanese television drama audiences for her portrayal as in and Tsukushi Makino in the Hana Yori Dango series, in which she won Best Actress in the 47th Television Drama Academy Awards and received a newcomer award at the 16th Hashida Awards for her role as Tsukushi.
In early 2008, she played the lead role as a Princess in a drama special Anmitsu Hime, followed by Anmitsu Hime 2 in early 2009, where she sang the theme song with Shokotan. After the success of the two Hana Yori Dango dramas, a film was announced in August 2007, just months after the end of the 2007 sequel. It was Inoue's first starring role in a movie. The movie was released on June 28, 2008. It topped the box office Japan for few consecutive weeks and became the second biggest hit movie in 2008. It also became a very big hit, not only in Japan, but many parts of Asia, bringing a name to Inoue Mao as 10 billion yen actress.
Despite her soaring popularity after the HYDF movie, Mao step back from acting to concentrate on her studies. Right after her graduation in March 2009, she started filming for her second starring role in a movie Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu, which was released in theaters in October 2009. Her fantastic portrayal of Mayu has once again proven herself as the movie also became a hit. On April 10, 2010,My Darling is a Foreigner was released in theaters in Japan with Inoue starring opposite Jonathan Sherr.
After three years since her last drama,She will reunite with Hana Yori Dango co-star Shun Oguri for the drama , which will begin airing in October 2010. She will also star in the 84th asadora drama , portraying a woman who lived through World War II. This will air from March 28, 2011, to September 24, 2011.
In February 2011, a movie will be released in theaters with Mao to costar known actor Takenouchi Yutaka in a movie Taiheiyou no kiseki ~Fox to yobareta otoko. Filming took place in Thailand. It was also revealed in late September 2010 that Inoue Mao will star in a movie Youkame no Semi which will also be released in 2011.
Inoue Mao loves badminton, basketball, Japanese dance, music and oil painting.She also loves animals. She has a pet Boston Terrier named Hug. Because of her love for animals, she would like to be a veterinarian if she is not in the entertainment industry. Her wish came close to reality, as she will be playing a vet's nurse in her coming drama "Veterinarian Do Little". She also loves Disneyland a lot.
